yes yes, thank you Maria! I just felt like I heard a massive massive difference, too big for it to simply be Richard not growling, hihi!

I want to share a few observations I’ve made about some early Ramm songs!

- In the original recording of DRSG, it doesn’t sound like Reesch did the adlibs (der Wahnsinn, etc.). It sounds like Till.

- But in Tier, the echo of, well, “tier” is clearly Reesch, it even sounds like I may have just been sampled from the Tier/Fleisch incident.

Richard’s voice has always had a very distinct raspy-growl to it, and that raspy-growl is not present in DRSG.

Thank you for your observations! I fear I'm not much of an expert, so I have no idea whether 'Tier' was sampled by that video or not.

Regarding DRSG, however: I took the liberty of asking my dear @marimayscarlett for help, who kindly sent me this video. It explains (from 2:50 onwards) how the growling in DRSG supposedly was recorded and why it sounds the way it does. It only mentions "one of the guys in shorts, a white shirt and suspenders" but not Richard specifically. ( ͡°ω ͡°) Maria also has a very interesting guess as to why it is sung by Richard in the live performance:

1. His voice delivers it well. 👀

2. The timing of Till's live performance just wouldn't really fit with the singing, otherwise he wouldn't be able to breathe in properly between 'Der Wahnsinn' and 'ist nur eine schmale Brücke' to sing the remaining verses.

These may be assumptions, but I find them plausible! (oωo人) Anyway, I'm sure that if anyone in the fandom knows more about this, they will be happy to share their thoughts. 💚
