uhhhh... the point is that we're all human beings suffering on this spinning rock in space together?

and Christ calls us to care for each other and reduce the suffering in the world where we can?

and we should WANT to reduce suffering anyway because we've suffered ourselves and want to help others avoid that suffering as much as possible?

because good human beings have these weird things in their bodies called compassion and empathy?
