Guys, hear me out. Idk if anyone has said this before but I've got a HC.

If the Kokiri from OOT are some kids in the Lost woods, where no hylian has been, wouldn't it be logical if the kokiri didn't know how to speak hylian language and instead their own language? Or maybe they just know a little of hylian, enough to understand signals and such.

Then, if Time had grown there then we can think about a kid Time who used to speak kokiri or smth. Then, when he was on adventure he would learn it more.

So, my HC is that Time sometimes forgets that he should be speaking hylian and starts speaking kokiri instead. Would be fun if he unconsciously swore in kokiri and the others freaked out.

It’s my birthday (kinda) and as such I’m releasing LOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE.

CREATION

In the beginning The White Stag, a being of untold justice and righteousness birthed three daughters into existence. He named the three after their defining traits, the first he named Nayru due to her cunning and wit, the second he named Din after her fierce drive and immense power, and the third he named Farore for the love and courage that radiated from her being. Upon those folk he bestowed a world to bringeth to life and to defend from outside evils, and upon this blasted world the three daughters descended, Nayru didst create the laws that all living and non-living beings abide by, Din didst shape the valleys, mountains, and dark places of the world, and finally Farore birthed man and beast and plant to populate the world and beest fruitful. The White Stag, seeing that this was valorous, didst doth decide to cautel a man and imbue him with a fragment of his power and righteousness, he named this man Link after his link to the world that his beloved daughters didst hath't crafted, and he didst put into his soul a love of all things. And yet, after seeing the worketh that their sister and father had done Din and Nayru didst doth becometh discontented and jealous. They didst doth beginneth birthing their own children in secret, Nayru birthed the quaint goddess Hylia whom she didst charge with protecting the fair folk of the world, she then birthed the palmy and divine Wind Fish, a trio of protectors for all other races. Din employed the magma and fires of creation and didst maketh the Demon clan, beings to eventually usurp the world from the fair folk and pave the way for humanity, next she didst grind and didst doth cut the boulders of volcanoes to maketh the Gorons, whom she imbued her craftsmanship and heartiness. She then forged a vessel for her strength and jealousy towards her sisters’ creations, she named him Demise. Sensing upcoming destruction, Farore crafted a scheme and didst invite her sisters to forge something together. Once they didst meet, Farore didst set about planning the vessels she had envisioned, Din forged the shape of three golden triangles while Nayru didst carve words of power into their visages. Once the deed was done Farore dubbed it the Triforce. She then revealed her deception to her sisters and didst trap their faculties and forms into each of the three pieces, sealing those folk hence still. Once The White Stag learned of the fate of his beloved daughters he didst weep believing those folk to beest dead. As he wept, his gouts of sorrow fertilized his dimension and didst maketh it flourish with life. His final act was to moveth the Triforce into this new dimension as a way of bringing peace to his suffering, after this he didst tire and didst enter a slumber that shalt not end till the end of days.

In an AU of this AU, she probably let him in. Spent time hanging out at his place while he composed new music. Strolled around Paris with him (but never touched him in public unless she needed his attention). Rolled her eyes at him. Laughed at his jokes. Tugged on his sleeve once or twice.

And maybe she kissed him when he wasn’t expecting it. Maybe they fought a lot because they’re so different from each other. Maybe she screamed at him that, yes, she knows, nothing’s ever good enough for her and does he thinks she wants to be that way? Maybe she told him he was tolerable and he laughed and said “I love you too” just to fluster her.

Maybe she told him about getting sick, and that she doesn’t want some Fault In Our Stars bullshit, that life is stupid and pointless and unfair, and the last thing she wants to see before she dies is everyone’s pitiful fucking faces.

And maybe she woke up beside him in the middle of the night, decided Paris was too stifling for her, and left without a single word.

“Ew. Sticky.” The voice of Fay drifted like an omen after being suddenly dropped like a hot potato into another Hyrule.

“Huh?” came the ever so elegant response.

It was weird a non-link was portaled with them. This never happened before.

A moment of confused and awkward silence passed before clarification came. "The surrounding magic: it’s sticky."

This was the answer to the question verbalized, but not the one they all had. Ordon stretched on around them, the eerie lull of night settling in on the heroes.

Twilight began to move and the others followed. All except Fay, who vanished without a sound before they could do a head count.

After setting up camp, Fay emerged. He looked slightly uncomfortable as he brushed off seemingly nothing from his tunic and pants and slowly sat to a croutch.

“I suppose it makes sense that you feel so sticky now.” Fay commented, staring right at Twilight.

“Umm… What?”

“What do you mean he feels sticky?” Legend inquired, “If anything I’d say he feels dusty from all the dirt and that pelt, but not sticky.”

“It's the magic. In the air, the ground, the plants, even in Twilight himself. It feels sticky and seems to leave a bit of residue on whatever it touches. It almost feels like eating too much කැරමල් … err, caramel…?”

Wild looked up from his boiling pot at whatever language seemed to resonate and ring in Legend’s head. Four tilted his head with a gleam in his eyes, and Time might’ve reacted based on a small twitch of his hand, but none of the others seemed to react.

“So, “ Fay spoke once more, “Can I have your names? And a possible explanation for this… kerfuffle?”

The chain all looked at each other, then zeroed in on Sky. To his credit, said hero did nothing but blink.

“Oh! Yes, of course! I’m Sky, that's Time, Twilight, Wild, Warriors, Legend, Four and Wind” Sky introduced, pointing to each as he said their names.

Fay expected the tethers of given names, that small twist of magic emulating small candlelights of lifeforce, indicating he now held a thread connected to that person’s existence. What he didn’t expect was how bright and strong the flames would be, not that he'd do anything with them.

“Although, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you those are just nicknames.”

Fay hummed in interest, wondering what made nicknames so powerful, and turned to fully face Sky. The other brought his fancy sword from beside him and onto his lap.

“We’re actually all named Link, “ Sky continued, “Reincarnations of the hero’s spirit from across time. We all fought to save our lands, some of us more than once, but this is the first time we’re doing it as a group. Our current theory as to why we were all gathered is because Hylia needs us all to fight off some big, horrible evil. Though the only evidence we’ve got of that evil are the black-blooded monsters.” Sky seemed saddened by their lack of progress, but tried to hide it with a pleasant topic change.

“Enough about us, care to share anything interesting about yourself?”

Fay hummed, “Well I suppose it's only fair if we trade. I was also originally called Link. I do prefer Fay though. It’s been my name since I met Pond mother. Link never really quite fit.”

“Umm, ” Sky stammers, not sure what, if anything, to say to that. “Okay,” he settles for, the word coming out a bit hollow-sounding.

“So why Fay?” Wind, ever the conversationalist, steamrolls on through the others’ momentary social glitch.

“It’s easier to slip under the radar with. I don’t remember much being Link but sacred sunlight above do you know how worked up people got when they would hear my name? It’s like no one could decide whether I was a plague personified sent by their demons or a god of life that came to rid the world of all inconveniences.”

“Rude” sniffs Wind in a comical and overdramatic charade. Though with a blink, Wind’s face fell into shock.

“Wait! Link!? You’re a Link! Holy fuck no wonder!”

A small, pitiful “language…” came from Twilight. His voice was snuffed out by Wind’s jubilated rambling, though a snort and a couple huffs let him know he was, in fact, heard.

“So I’m guessing we don’t need the whole Fi ceremony?” Warriors joked.

“Good thing too, ” Sky said back in a more exasperated tone than Warriors would expect, “‘Cuz his hero title is Hero of Hyrule and I think that’s just a disaster waiting to happen.”

♤♡♧◇ Plot? What plot? I was supposed to have one of those? And be consistent? Huh? Anywho, my focus is on Hyrule being a fae, not a cohesive world. Juggling all nine of ‘em is hard, blink and you'll miss it time and four. Note: Fae language is google translated Sinhala, it's not accurate or exact in what I want to say. Sorry, it's just pretty. ♤♡♧◇ Kudos to my sister who beta read and helped me get words outa my brain. <3

Ancient Teyvat History

Long ago the kingdom known as Hyrule broke into the seven nations we know today. The three goddesses who rule over Celestia– Din, Nayru, and Farore– created the Archons. Semi-immortal beings granted a seat on the elemental thrones, and a Gnosis to rule their nations with.

Anemo, Geo Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo. Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya.

Now, the Triforce is still present in our current world, but it has faded. Perhaps been hidden, if you will. Gannon is no longer a threat. The sacred name of Zelda is not passed down, as the royal family is no longer about. The Hero needs not arise. We unfortunately do not have much information on The Heros, no names, no mention of family or home have been mentioned in the records. But it is undeniable the link they have to the Triforce of courage, their adventures forever remembered.

the way the colors originally split: Red is positive emotions, Blue is negative emotions, Vio is logical hard facts intelligence, Green is nuanced people intelligence.

but that's not their entire personalities. blue is also determination :)

Yo what if their sword could kinda shapeshift for each of the colors? 

Red: Shinobu’s sword from demon slayer

Blue: Antarcticite’s sword from lotl

Vio: pure nail from hollow knight

Green: Alhaithem’s sword from genshin impact

and ofc, they also all use the base version of the sword and their other preferred weapons.

oh! oh! what if two colors piloting means dual blades?? like Lady Maria from bloodborne! or Zuko from atla!

I've got wilds and warriors designs down too. I just have to make their character sheet...

I didn't really expect a lot of people to like my designs but thank you! I'd thought I'd give some more information about the links for the au since not a whole lot was in their character sheets.

Legend (four) - during his first quest he had to pull the master sword but it was almost the size of him, so he didn't take it. When legend (four) went to the dark world and stumbled upon the palace of the four sword. He took it (there weren't any dark links in the palace, youll now why once I get another character done.)

Sky (wind) - I thought of making him older then 15 since itll make more sense, and I don't want a group of teenager heros. So instead hell be 17-18. I'm still trying to figure out more about him but if anyone has any ideas then just let me know :)

Its not a lot but I'm trying not to spoil other characters and I'm still making the story. Anyways this post is getting long so ill split this into another one

Wind (hyrule) - he grew up to be a sailor around his grandma, he is still down on himself because he wasn't able to "save" her. He started his journey by getting lost and ended up on the forsaken fortress.

Twilight (legend) - from the fanfic that this idea is from, him and midna sass at each other a lot. In ordon village he helped with farming and entertaining the kids. Since he wasn't traumatized by koholint he still shows that he cares about others, he's very similar to jojos legend but more soft. Jojos twilight also has face markings and I thought of giving him some, but why not give him permanent pink hair instead.
