Guys im so fucking lost rn i havent cried this way since i watched "I saw the TV glow" MAG200 is an incredible chapter everything was so well delivered its so great to think that atleast Basira, Melanie, Georgie and The Admiral are safe now
I just finished TMA, like MAG 200 and I feel the same way, I cant picture them being dead, there were too many hints in this episode that they're still alive or at least somewhere else
We’re handwaving ‘’Jon and Martin’s bodies weren’t found’’ as some kind of mild kindness Jonny had towards the most hopeful of us and not a legitimate writing decision with full intent and purpose.
Like, I understand being cynical because we’ve repeated outselves ‘’TMA is a tragedy’’ to death but tragedy doesn’t ultimately means death-game-of-thrones-style. Yes, they could very well be dead but TMA has a history of ‘’no body = no proof of death’’ and the fact that the hope that they’re alive, the hope they had and the hope Georgie, Melanie and Basira stay with, the hope we stay with means something thematically and it’s undeniably a part of the story, not a last minute fix so the ending isn’t so bloody.
Okay TMA fanfic prompt, at the end of MAG 200 they get pulled into...the past, where they replace their season 1 self together until the end. How would they change the story and oh my to have a whole 5 seasons of jmart saving everyone that is so interesting
