The progress is alright (it's at 2 pitches, 45-55% OTOed roughly) but at a standstill now due to it simply not being my current project (just a spontaneous thing I started on an whim). I'm really nitpicky about that particular voice bank and intend to re-record a fair number of strings due to not liking the tone in places, and add at least one more stronger pitch, some extra sounds. I might give it a beta or pre-release once the third pitch is added. (thinking late February/early March) Official release not sure, I never give myself exact release dates because I don't have time/energy to be strict on personal projects in my spare time.

Tell that to Mod, I don't own RGB, lol. I think his white eyebrows are fine. I mean, (human) Magnus's entire head of hair is white, but no one seems to take issue with that.

Hm... I wish you had asked me this off anon because I don’t feel comfortable putting my home address out there in the open for lots of people to see. I do indeed have a resume that lists my address ( for career purposes), but it’s currently outdated- so I will need to update that. Thanks for reminding me! I will see to updating that soon.

Yup! He spawned an entire snow-covered Christmas 'tree’ out of light and snow, in the last comic I made of him.. if you want to know what else he can do with it, he can do similar things as he can with soldified light. A few examples including making ice sculptures or stairs, freezing over things... Instant ice cream?

Depends on how focused I am/how detail the art is? I’ll try my best to list what I can do. I dunno why people are interested in my speed because I’m slow in terms of posting any form of art.
Art Speeds (approximate)
Pixel Art. Time is variable depending on details, animated or not, etc. 10min-1 hour
Comics. depending on details again, 20min for sketch comic up to 5 hours for full color/polish.
Digital Paintings/Illustrations. 30 min-1 hour for simple character/simple BG, 5 hours-16 hours for anything above and beyond that depending on detail
Hand-Drawn 2D Animation. Several hours for a short clip. Full color animation for 1 minute will probably take me a week or two.
Video Compositing (assuming images are ready), several hours to a day or two.
3D Model. depends on what I’m modelling. A vehicle will probably take anywhere from 1-3 hours. Architecture also depends on exterior or interior. Several hours. Characters is relatively untouched (allergic) territory for me, so I dunno.
3D Animation. a semi-complex short will probably take 1 -3 days to piece and render together? (this is assuming the model is rigged and everything is set up, like lighting and environment )

Hi guys, sorry I never seem to answer asks publicly anymore (I have done back and forth on some private/non-anon ones), some of these asks are super old (up to 3 months) and I just kept them in the backlog because my mind is constantly tired.
I accumulated a lot of new followers recently- So a warm welcome to those who are new to my blog!

Thank you Supaki! I’m really glad to hear you enjoy my UTAU and audio work, I worked hard to make sure they sound distinct and memorable both in song choice and stylization. I will keep making things when I get the chance, for sure!

Thanks! It depends on how you define “soon” ;[ lol. A lot of things actually have been coming up in my life so I thought a little while ago that I was able to do it soon, only to find out that other shit has to be resolved first. You still might have to wait for a bit but I still intend on getting to it as soon as some things get ironed out.

Shamefully, no, because my Chinese is so rusty due to lack of opportunities to use the language. In addition to that, I am not familiar with a whole lot of Chinese music (on top of that, ones I strongly like enough to cover myself). I would like to someday though.

I have never read Homestuck, sorry!
I imagine he types relatively formally (Doesn’t use shorthand much unless there are terms that have abbreviation) but might occasionally omit some punctuation. He’s a lot more particular about keeping capitalization.

Magnus can draw diagrams and he can use scientific instruments.
In all seriousness though, I think in terms of drawing, he captures shapes/general idea type things very well. Probably has a wispy but confident line stroke.
In terms of music instruments, he hasn’t received formal training or anything for any particular instrument, but he does have a loose conceptual understanding of music notes and what sounds pleasing to the ear. Somehow I imagine he’s good with rhythm and percussive stuff.

trying to stave my mind off some food poisoning by messing around, but I just feel worse after finishing this up lol. it’s just a thing I expanded from a small doodle since I wanted to draw something with high energy.
due to popular demand (1 person asked) i doodled up a quick ref for human magnus to get my mind off other things, in the middle of working on my only commission left. idk if this is helpful but yeah.
also fun fact (or not so fun depending on how you look at things) I actually don’t really like drawing human form Magnus all that much, but it’s probably mostly due to his default outfit being moreso tailored to the prism-head form shape-wise (since that’s the design he started out as), so. dunno.
“Conversation”
I haven’t drawn these two in awhile but I miss doing stuff with them T_T I intend to start my Magnus comic at some point this year when things lighten up.
I had a stupidly intense dream about Magnus and RGB last night that inspired this pic (just outta the blue), and I wish I remembered more details about the dream, because I was so into it. Work has been equally stupidly intense so even if I did remember the dream I dunno if I’d have time to draw it out in comic form, but I’ll figure something out.
test warm up speedpaint. I’ll try to make a habit of at least drawing personal work more regularly for practice, plus posting more art + comics + blurbs regularly on this blog so there’s less long periods of silence. A tentative magnus comic title is “division 0″, but the comic itself may not release for awhile unfortunately, since I am still swamped with work and soon going to be moving, but there’s no reason not to keep drawing and painting.
I redid my very first illustration of Magnus. (The original piece was a rough concept, so the painting was also quite loose when I did it for the "Witchsona" prompt years ago.) New tags - since the bracketed ones no longer work; #Magnus0 (related to the character) #Division0 (related specifically to his story/comic)
Will Magnus show up again?
alas no, much as with Madras, Magnus has 'graduated' from the World of Make Believe and has left for his own existence outside of that realm! it's a bittersweet thing, but also as both are characters that belong to other creators (who very kindly allowed me to feature them as extravagant cameos in TPoH) it feels correct as a resolution

me and my friend @dragonpro809 came up with this au is the kids go back to the real world (hero, their oc Knight and another oc they’re working on) and their guardians are small (single felled organisms) Dial is also really loud and screams like a siren
They sound like squeaking to most but the kids understand them
One of the kids has a hope as a pet
