...why do I suddenly need to see a dress with this pattern?

$A complex hypocycloid pattern of red, green, and blue lines (based on a design from the original Spirograph instruction book), mapped onto a section of Mandelbrot fractal. The background color is very pale blue.$

Another section of spirograph/mandelbrot, contiguous with the one above. There's a curved line where the background changes from pale blue to deeper blue.

The spirograph/mandelbrot continues, with another transition from deep blue to pale blue again.

We have reached a minibrot, with the spirograph patterns doubling around it to form a kaleidoscopic effect.
