~Yeah baby girl, I lose you, I lose the world. This storm, this storm, this storm swept away all that is mine~

"Just another awful day," You grumbled to yourself as you took your heels off and rubbed your sore feet. Sighing, you stood back up and walked into the kitchen where you fixed you a glass of water and took your migraine medicine the doctor prescribed to you. "I wish everything would just pause for a day and let me breathe for a second."

You currently lived alone and barely got to see what little friends you had left because of the job that stole all your freedom from you, but you couldn't complain since it paid the bills and allowed you to live a comfortable life. You lost most of your friends when they all moved away to make a name for themselves as the said, and you were happy that they were all happy.

You didn't really miss them all since none of you were close, but when it came down to it there was one person who stood out in your memory and made you wish you had never met so you wouldn't be in pain every time you thought of them. That one person just so happened to be the first guy you have ever loved, also as luck would have it he was also the first man to ever break your heart into a million pieces.

~I lose my senses and my sight in the fog of pain. Nobody knows, nobody knows, only traces of you left in my heart~

You tried not to think about the past nowadays and got this new and, though tiring, amazing job to forget it all and try to move on. Now you were sitting at the table, finally relaxed after having a nice long and warm (bath/shower), and you were eating your dinner and listening to your music set on shuffle. Just as your favorite song came on you heard a knock on the door and scowled. You debated on just ignoring it and letting whoever it was think you weren't home, but after the person knocking for the third time it had gotten under your skin and you rushed into the foyer to answer it.

When you opened the door the person who stood outside of it surprised you so much, you slammed the door in their face and stood with your back against it. "What the hell is he doing here?" You whisper-yelled to yourself as you paced back and forth in front of the door. You stopped when you heard him knock again and quietly begged him to leave and not come back.

"Y/n," you involuntarily shivered when you heard his voice suddenly call out your name. "Please open the door, we need to talk."

~Last goodbye, the last words. All forgotten, I'm tied up standing on the edge in despair inside this barren desert~

"Then talk," you called out to him through the door.

"Well, this is actually really something I'd like to say as I'm looking at your face." You bit your lip and looked down at the doorknob, silently debating in your head about what to do. "Y/n, please open the door."

Sighing, you gave in and opened the door once again being faced with his handsome features. "What do you want, Yeong Jun. I don't have all night."

He raised his eyebrows as his eyes scanned your outfit, which consisted of a worn down t-shirt and comfortable pajama pants. "Right? Okay, then I won't take that long I promise," he said as he stepped inside and took off his shoes.

"Uhm, sure why not just come on in. It's not like I don't want you in here or anything." You said and you mocked him when he was turned around.

He laughed and turned to face you again, making your face go straight. "You were always so cute when you were trying to be sarcastic."

Rolling your eyes, you took another step away from him and asked, "What do you want, Yeong Jun?"

~Breathe, breathe, I can't breathe. Breathe, I can hear you. Pain as deep as the ocean, my tears could fill up the sea~

"Well, I guess we're getting straight to it then. Y/n I'm going to be frank with you, because I feel like that is the only way you'll believe me or at least listen to me. I miss you, y/n. I've missed looking at your beautiful face everyday, I missed the way your eyes scrunch up when you smile, and I've missed the way you would tell me you loved me."

You looked at him for a couple minutes and then asked, "Did you hit your head or something?"

He laughed a little and sat down before letting out a sigh. "No, y/n sit down. I really need you to listen to me, please."

"Hey, Yeong Jun are you okay? You don't look to good. Hold on, I'll fix you something to drink."

"Thanks," he softly said as he watched you head to the fridge. He remembered them all, the memories you two have had in the kitchen. He remembered how if he would wake up before you, he would come downstairs to surprise you by making your favorite breakfast and giving it to you in bed when you would wake.

All the kisses you two shared, the moments that he found absolutely perfect, and the times you would snuggle up to him and bury your face in his chest when you were scared. He came back to reality when he heard you calling out his name and setting your hand on his forhead.

~The sorrow only gets more cruel, my spirit keeps crashing harder like the waves. No better no better no better corpse, Wwo wwo wwo~

"Yeong Jun, I think you might be running a fever. Come on, you go lay down on the couch and I'll get you some medicine." You helped him stand and watched over him as he walked into the living room to lay down. Sheesh, I've told him before not to over work himself. He was always so bad at doing that.

After getting him to take some medicine you layed a blanket over him and sat opposite him, deciding to get some work done as he slept. You kept getting distracted as you would look over at him every few minutes, sometimes getting up to check his temperature. Finally you sighed and decided to set your work down and just watched Yeong Jun as he slept. He's sweating, you thought as you stood and wiped his forehead with a rag.

You heard him mumble something and bent down to hear him. "Y/n," he muttered as he turned over onto his back. Your eyes widened as you straightened back up and walked into the kitchen to get him some more water for when he woke up.

~You storm by, I turn around. Even if you say no, I wanna turn back turn back my girl. Too late late late, it's too late late late. You seem so distant, what do I do now~

It had been a little over an hour since Yeong Jun had showed up and fallen asleep on your couch. Now he was sitting up and feeling better, his face had more color and he didn't look as sick as he had. The medicine had obviously helped and hopefully he was feeling a bit better.

"I've told you before not to overwork yourself," you told him as you handed him a glass with water in it.

He smiled at you and shook his head. "Yeah but that's not why I feel like this, as a matter of fact I actually haven't been to work the past couple of weeks."

"Why not? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything is fine. Well sort of, listen y/n we really need to talk. What I said before, it was all true. I miss you, y/n."

"Yeong Jun, I don't --"

"Y/n," he said interrupting you, "I know that we agreed to break up before, but I never even wanted to let go of you."

~Why me uh, why me uh, why me me uh uh. Why me uh, why me uh, why do I get a bad wound no no no no~

"You never wanted to let go?" You sat back as you tried to understand what he was saying.

"That's right," he walked towards you and knelt in front of you. Grabbing your hands he brought them up to his face and kissed them. "I miss you so much, y/n. Please, let's give us another chance okay? What do you say?"

Another chance, you thought it over as you watched Yeong Jun. Smiling you layed your hand on his cheek, "Okay. Let's give us another chance."

The past doesn't matter anymore, after all that's what you were wanting to forget. All you have to look forward to is the future after all, and your future now seemed very bright.
