I wish I was a meteor. People notice meteors. People awe at them and smile and make wishes on them, before they inevitably smash into their destination at a trillion miles, shattering into thousands and billions of pieces and heating the ground, melting it into magma.

Then people forget it’s there, as they crumble and fall far outside the range in which they care. They already made a wish, the comet is gone.
