just read the most heart-wrenching, soul-destroying, tear-inducing angelstone fic on ao3 and i don't think i can function like a real human being anymore
gonna be playing my first proper game of dnd this sat and im nervous!! just joined a one shot game thru the dnd discord on impulse, so far people are nice but boy am i new to all of this
okay so IT ACTUALLY WASN'T TOO BAD. although it started out pretty slow (scratch that, it started close to 3 hours late because the DM was still setting up the map which was HUGE btw), getting to combat and interacting with the other players more was pretty fun
i gotta work on roleplaying and being familiar with my character man, but they were all real nice and guided me threw even what dice to roll
also i got thrown a second character halfway through because one of my party members had to leave halfway (and he was playing 2 characters to make up our numbers) so that was stressful
btw i almost died. pc got chomped by a kraken and rolled a nat 1 on her first death saving throw :"
