I know you didn't mean it like this, since your description says you just didn't want to render it, but holy shit I'm obsessed with the idea/implications of 2D red lyrium sword!!! Red lyrium that corrupts so completely that it even bleeds itself dry, warping the fabric of the world until it creates gaps in space and reality that shouldn't exist, yet here they are for all to see?
