Bad news, I can't put all the tags of the shows and the names because of the maximum on 30 >:(
I DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS UNTIL I SAW IT!!

"Till next time we can play, have a Mickey-riffic day."
OKAY but despite this being golden Mickey meme-terial, I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT ABOUT THIS!! I watched some Mickey's Funhouse episodes and I was delighted to see him express much more than I had remembered, even if it's to the depth for a child to simply graspーit conveys very well through his features and actions. And with the new and improved (I love the aesthetic of Clubhouse too, always!!) style of animation his personality can be seen even more than ever before in the kids' show!
And in Me & Mickey it becomes even clearer because it's just him alone in that show (well sometimes, my favorite M&M is definitely the Tea Party one with Minnie... ♡). It's so heartwarming to see how much he cares about everyone around him, or how much of a goofball he can be, or how he has these creative and inspiring ideas and loves to share them!
One of my favorite Mickey moments in Funhouse is basically the entire episode "Mickey's Sporty Day" (S1 Ep 20). It was definitely a new viewing experience to watch Mickey consistently fail over and over so many times. Which was actually very refreshing, especially showing him struggle in a kids' show! I know Mickey is far from perfect and he gets into conflict often, but it was surprisingly new to see everyone be so much better than him at like, EVERYTHING LOL. My favorite part of the entire episode is just watching how he reacts to being beaten every single time, he got upset and my heartstrings were pulled! BUT I WAS STILL ROOTING FOR MY RODENT BOY!!! It was a good moment and I'm pretty sure he was worried about holding everyone back from victory which added a whole new layer of perspective to his character. It was less of wallowing in his own failures and worrying about how him not being able to keep up would affect his friends who were eager to keep going. I guess it was like he felt like a burden? In a sense? He seemed sort of reluctant to take the time from everyone to train and get better, like he was doubting himself. And I don't think he even won anything in the end, but that didn't really mean much to him because the prize wasn't why he was there in the first place. He was happy that he and his friends were able to complete the sports day, aww! :)
It's been a while since I've watched any of the Clubhouse/Funhouse stuff, and again this is just a show for children so don't take it too seriously cuz this is literally just an impulsive reblog that got embarrassingly long while I'm supposed to be studying and I doubt the production intended for anyone to interpret the episode like this anyways. So! All in all! I do believe he shows personality, just sometimes more than others ya know!

it's funny that people are using this clip of mickey being sad as a meme now. but to me, it’s a rare moment and is proof that mickey actually has a personality in clubhouse.
not just here, but in the current preschool mickey shows he express emotions a lot more often.
