❞ the never-ending bustle of the city, the exhaust plaguing the air, blinding lights of billboards, the constant beeping of vehicles.... it dizzied you, head spinning with nausea at even the mention of it. any longer in the damned place and your brain would turn to mush. you needed a change of pace. a change of scenery, if you will. anywhere with sites aplenty and people you could tolerate. and so, you searched. day and night, dusk to dawn-- until you came across a rural town far from any outside influence. this was your ticket to a humble life you could only dream of with your thoughts and yourself alone. the people you'd be associating yourself with was originally a worry of yours, but when met with warm smiles instead of cold sneers, you let out a sigh of relief. a bit concerning, it may be, but it's something of a cultural difference, surely?❝

[ REDACTED ] ➢ blunt, washed-up, and just overall a douche, he never seems to let you catch a break from his overwhelmingly pessimistic ramblings and suggestive comments. even when trying to avoid him, the amount of times you bump into him even in the most unlikely places is a bit too uncanny to be a coincidence.

━ the town's infamously ill-mannered recluse whose unusually bashful towards you never fails to make you tilt your head with his strange mannerisms. it'd almost feel criminal to hold a grudge against him with how he can't even seem to get a word out, but it's hard to dismiss what the town warned you prior to meeting him. perhaps you'd just been losing sleep, but he always seems to know of even the smallest matters you don't recall telling him about. it makes it much more curious considering how seldom you actually see him.

personality ; ➣ not only is he rude and snarky to most, resulting in leaving a terrible impression to many, but he's not any better when it comes to you. on the surface, he'd be like a highschool girl with a puppy crush, with how much he stares at you so evidently struck with cupid's arrow. if you look a little deeper, though, the true nature of 1's downright degenerate and obsessive feelings towards you could only be compared to unleashing eldritch horrors upon yourself. 'methods of courting' ; ➣ stalking thorough observation of your character ➣ as soon as 1 stops being in denial of what he genuinely thinks about you, his drawer is brimming with polaroids of you almost immediately. he's far from athletic, but his long legs help him trail behind you—not too far from his peripheral where he'd only be able to make out your silhouette, and not too close where you'd notice the click of his camera.

trivia ; ➣ 1's guilty pleasure is cliché highschool romances (the breakfast club, grease, karate kid, etc. name one and there's a fat chance he'd already watched it). he wasn't treated the best back in his teenage years and often fantasizes about how he could've made things better for himself
