He was standing in the doorway with a towel wrapped around his waist. His hair was wet, slicked back away from his face. Kihyun’s arms were impressive, honestly. But, no more impressive than the vast expanse of his shoulders.
How the fuck did he manage to hide that frame?! She turned to look at him, and her mouth went dry. Fuck.
He smirked, watching her mouth fall open, watching her eyes trail the beads of moisture down his body. “You can put your mouth to work if you’re just going to stare.” He quipped with an arched brow.
She coughed with a shake of her head, the spell was momentarily broken as she turned away. “I-uh just came to …give you these things back.” She held out an opaque white box. He heard a faint jingle and his features darkened.
“Give them back?” He asked again through clenched teeth. She could feel the midnight rage of his gaze searing into her flesh. The box was pushed forward into empty air, she dare not look at him.
“I can’t keep doing this, Kihyun. I can’t! I won’t!” Her voice rose an octave before she composed herself. “…I can’t do this anymore.” That’s right, lie, keep talking, don’t look at him. “Let’s just end it, amicably. I don’t wa-” The grip on her wrist was ironclad.
“Look at me.” He shook her in his direction. Her gaze remained downcast until he gripped the point of her chin between his thumb and forefinger. “Look. At. Me.” His voice was a vehement hiss as her eyes lifted to meet his. “You. Belong. To. Me.”
Each word was a nail in her coffin. Each syllable sliced the air as He guided her backward. “You’re Mine. Period.” Her chest rocked with each beat of her heart.
His fingers bruised into the tender skin of her forearm. The back of her knees hit the edge of the bed, sending her backward into the plush Egyptian cotton comforter. He grabbed her by the ankles and pulled her until her ass met the side of the bed.
“And I’m going to prove it to you.” There was that delicate shift of his eyebrow, the slightly amused lift of his lips. He put two fingers into his mouth and ran them along the moist, sticky truth staining her inner thighs.
