Christmas Carol ♡  Kim Seokjin

Pairing: Seokjin x reader

Genre: PURE holiday season fluff

Summary: Jin is a Christmas caroler and you are trying to hide from him by turning off all the lights but he knows you are home and he just won’t give up because he has a surprise prepared for you.

Word Count: 1k

Warnings: none

A/N: I was gone bc of finals and now I’m back and into the holiday spirit so here’s a little something something bc I don’t have much time + I am not feeling well emotionally + writers block af but whatever. I hope you enjoy this.

The night was cold, sky darkened as no moon was shining up above, and you could only thank the fire burning in the middle of your living room for providing you with warmth and a dim light, thanking the brief moments of silence before your the neighbourhood’s streets came alive with all the Christmas lights outside the houses and above all, the consistent and annoying voices of the carolers that filled up the air as they came to each doorstep and people joined in.

It wasn’t like you hated Christmas, you even put a whole ass string of lights AND a crown on your doorstep, you really didn’t mean to gain the reputation of being a Grinch, but being friends with the one and only Kim Seokjin made that difficult, you see, Seokjin was a pretty much normal guy all year round, except for Christmas season, he was the type to go ALL OUT for it. Go big or go home was an understatement, especially when he decided to join the neighbourhood’s carolers after that one night two years ago he was spending at your place and you refused to open up the door when the singing group appeared at your doorstep and he swore he would make you open your door and join in.

You were currently sitting in front of the small fire, quietly scrolling through social media, expecting to hear some kind of noise coming from outside, from Jin and his crew of weirdos that worshipped him as he was some type of Christmas god, but it was awfully quiet that night.

You made your way silently towards the closed curtains that faced outside and took a peep only to see nothing, the street was covered in snow so you figured the cold weather hadn’t allowed them to go outside, however, not a single Christmas light was lit on the houses down the street, not even Jin’s, now that was weird. Perhaps they just forgot, you waited five minutes. Ten. Fifteen. Maybe you should just take a look outside, just to make sure Earth’s population hadn’t just suddenly vanished like some type of Thano’s way.

You quickly wrapped around your body a blanket you had lying on the couch and opened the door, carefully stepping outside as the freezing wind hit your face and your heart almost jumped out of your chest as all of a sudden every single house and street light lit up, music sounding loud from somewhere and an all familiar voice counted to three before coming into view and started singing… Jin.

“Deck the hall with vows of holly” he was smiling the biggest smile you had ever seen him wear, knowing way too well that him doing a flashmob infant of your house was in no way something you would thank him for, people started to join in, singing and dancing along to what you knew, was all Jin’s idea. A full YouTube-worthy performance was taking part before your eyes. “Come on, Y/N, join the chorus”

Everyone danced along to the melody as they waited for you to sing the ‘fa la la la’ part of the song, but you wouldn’t budge, and Jin knew it would be a thousand times more complicated than he had initially anticipated when you turned around and closed the door behind you.

But the music never stopped, if only it became louder and you could hear Jin getting close to each window and knocking on your door as the first notes to ‘Last Christmas’ started

“Y/N just open up your door”

“There’s no one home” you shouted back, it was silly, but perhaps it would make him give up

“Y/N I know you’re home, you were just outside” he laughed “Come join the party we threw just for you” a few seconds went by as the rest of the carolers went on singing and just as the song was ending, you walked out once again, only to be greeted by a massive grin on Jin’s face as he looked at you

“…And now’s the time you kiss me”

“I’m sorry, now’s the time I-WHAT?!” It seemed like Jin’s brain turned to mush around this time of the year, but now he was just talking nonsense, sure, he was handsome as hell and you would be lying if you didn’t admit to daydreaming about dating him more than once but this? This was just the most elaborated thing he had done to tease you

Jin looked up while pointing his finger for you to face, a mistletoe hanging from the top part of your door

“Sorry…I don’t make the rules” he leaned down and you tried not to panic as his face grew closer to yours until his soft lips grazed upon your own and the world seemed to fade out to the soft notes of ‘Winter Wonderland’, a warm feeling taking over you from your tummy to your cheeks, where the freezing air was now replaced; Jin smiled against your mouth and separated from you “There was just no way that I would allow my girlfriend to be the Grinch”

Your mind was racing, your fingertips softly touching your lips and you almost missed what he said, as he was already walking down the street, ready to sing for the rest of the neighbourhood “KIM SEOKJIN WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY GIRLFRIEND”

“YOU’RE GONNA HAVE TO JOIN US TO FIND OUT” he shouted at you without even stopping as he threw an air kiss your way, quickly turning around laughing and joining the song as a smile played on your lips and you shook your head as you entered your house in search for a warm jacket to follow what seemed to be your  head-over-heels-for-Christmas boyfriend

Turn Back Time (KSJ x F!Reader)

image

pairing: baseball player!Seokjin x doctor!reader (based on the movie 13 Going On 30) genres/au/rating: fluff, humour, angst, smut, time travel au, 18+ summary: After total humiliation at his middle school baseball try outs, Kim Seokjin wants nothing more than for his awkward years to fade away until he’s thirty. Cue a magic baseball glove, and his wish is finally granted. Seokjin suddenly wakes up seventeen years later, now the star pitcher of the team he’d always dreamed of playing for. Confused and overwhelmed at the prospect of the new life waiting for him, he turns to the only person who seems to understand him — you. Will Seokjin learn what it truly means to be thirty, flirty, and thriving? Or will he find himself wishing he could turn back time?

warnings: bodyswap au (kind of), alternating pov, teenage insecurities, bullying, Seokjin is confused, mention of sports injury, thirst, mentions of hangover, sassy thirteen year olds, mentioned infidelity (not between main characters), cheating (like in sports), swearing, angsty confessions, smut warnings: nudity, Seokjin pops a semi at the wrong time, soft!dom Jin, making out, heavy petting, dry humping, nipple play, unprotected s*x (wrap it before you tap it)

The envelope crinkles as it’s handed to Seokjin, and his heart drops before he can even pause his iPod and yank his earbuds out, the Black Eyed Peas providing the soundtrack to his humiliation.

Sighing, he looks at his face twisted mid-expression, half-smile and half-grimace, the metal of his braces glinting against the camera flash, and wonders why the photographer had even bothered counting down if he wasn’t going to wait for him to smile for the photo anyway. Not to mention the packet had been inappropriately labeled “Suckjin”. His eomma would be so disappointed. Looking around, he pushes his glasses up onto his nose before shoving the damn thing into his backpack, where it hopefully wouldn’t see the light of day for a few more hours.

“Kim!”

Seokjin bites back a groan at the voice bellowing in the hallway, turning to see Jackson Wang and his posse of baseball boys strolling up to him. He and Jackson weren’t friends, at least not in the traditional sense of the word, but it wasn’t like they hated each other either. They had a mutual agreement - Seokjin would offer to do Jackson’s algebra homework for the semester, and Jackson promised him a try-out spot for the school’s baseball team.

To Seokjin, it was worth it. The baseball team was at the height of status in their janky middle school - everyone knew the players on the team were the coolest, sporting the finest threads walking through the hallways, and tipping their caps to make the girls scream. But it was more than that - for as long as he could remember, Seokjin had always been the lame kid. The one that faded into the background, hiding his acne-laden face under his mop of dark hair, constantly fiddling with his glasses. He hated that.

For once, he wanted to be the special one. The one who hit the winning home run at the game, the one who made all his fellow students and teachers scream with joy, who brought the school to victory. Then no one would ever forget him again. And now, with a try-out spot on the horizon, he finally got his chance.
