I had fully intended to draw one fan art every week as each episode of season 2 released, but my motivation and confidence took a nosedive all at once, so it might be a while 'til I have new art to post.🥲

Revamp of a drawing from June. Long-winded explanation/rant under the cut.
Okay. I was getting sick and tired of looking at the old one, so I had to do this. The colors were not cohesive at all and I made the mistake of using, like, seven different brushes, so overall it looked like a huge mess and it's been driving me crazy. I didn't want to redraw it from scratch, so I just did some color correction, re-shaded the characters, duplicated the flowers to make them less sparse, and finally, slapped a million filters on top. It still looks like a disaster to me (probably because I've been staring at it for way too long) but at least now I have somewhat abated my resentment for the whole thing. I'm still leaving the old one up just because, but my word, that was driving me crazy.
this started off as a quick sketch and turned into... an old-timey comic book-style illustration, somehow. oh well. I had a lot of fun with it. maybe too much fun😗
