Seeing the new My Candy Love game after not being able to play the og for years is a whiplash I wasn’t prepared for. Like you’re only telling me they made a new game now?!? I don’t think I knew how much I missed that shit till now
Anyone else's bedroom not showing up in the BG? It worked yesterday, but now it's not 😅
It shows up in the bedroom editor, but not on the title screen
The voting minigame is lowkey frustrating
What are your thoughts on NewGen so far? ...I have some opinions
For me it's a so-so in some ways, but I'm not really here to complain, because I enjoyed what we got so far!
The LIs are lovely, the customization is wonderful & the clothes are cute! The shorter episodes are a nice "warm-up", and the game straight up telling you what you missed for an illustration is super helpful and that's a change I really appreciate.
I hope we get some cool events in the future.
Anyway, these are just my thoughts;
I personally find the site quite hard to navigate
I don't understand why we needed three different currencies (one of which doesn't really do much), gold/money & APs would've been fine, in my opinion (and that would've solved other issue as well, which is; why do clothes cost AP? You know...the currency that you also need to play the episodes; it kind of forces the player to choose between playing the eps or dressing up, but that might not be a strong reason)
I also don't really like the "method" how the special scenes are unlocked (but that's not just for this game)
The voting minigame is frustrating & how much it punishes the player for making a mistake is a bit discouraging (and that being said, f2p players are at a disadvantage compared to paying players in the comp)

How can you cancel the vip membership thing on New Gen? I like the new calendar outfit and I'm thinking about getting it for this month, but this month only...is that possible?

I doubt other players will know who my entry is trying to be. I don't have too many items, and I tried my best, I just thought she'd fit the theme.
