silly gay horses redesigns 👐 I'm honestly a bit rusty at drawing ponies but I do like how the came out!

but my 2023 designs are actually redrawn from my old designs I did in 2020! I didn't change a lot of stuff since a genuinely still like them but I do feel like I improved in some aspects :)
I'm not the best at designing characters but it can be fun ^^

Fizz and Slice are twins. Fizz is just like her mama AJ, content on the farm, while Slice is more like their mom RD, jealous of Fizz's wings and wants nothing more than to be a Wonderbolt. They compete over basically everything, even though their parents say competing all the time gets you nowhere, but they're just kids, they'll figure it out eventually.
AJ and RD are butch transfemme lesbians and Slice is non binary

tidbids; Twilight had some leftover heritage batpony genes, which became present after becoming an alicorn, she also got a lot taller (before she was about dash's height), rainbow power and holding the princess' magic gave her the yellow streaks and glowy ends Rarity is part crystal pony, so she has a crystal horn- allowing for very precise magic. Fluttershy has lingering traits of her time as a vampire bat AJ has several scars from working on the farm Rainbow has some stunt-injuries, and one lightning-strike scar. Her rainbow colours are super rare, so she likes to show them off. Pinkie is a miniature pony, dinky little thing. 90% of her jewellery is edible.

some old doodles i did of if the flim flam brothers were part of the apple family. I'd think they'd be the ones who would be manning the stall in the town center or maybe even still occasionally doing travelling sales to promote the farm.
I stand by the fact that in their first appearance the super speedy cider squeezy wasn't actually a scam, it did work. so in this i think they wouldn't be as scammy as they ended up being by the end of the show. As they're good sales men and when they have a genuine product there no need for them to lie.
exaggerate? yeah ofc, they're still themselves. But i think the contrast between the more humble down to earth fam next to the theatrical, exaggerating twin unicorns is very funny.
