How it all started
Lee Taeyong has been in love with you from the moment he saw you sitting alone in the university’s coffee shop. He was sitting quite far away from you with his chaotic friends, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Taeil. But looking at you brought him peace even just for a second before Jung Jaehyun nudges his elbow and caught Taeyong’s attention. Just like that his peaceful world became noisy again.
“Y/n, we go to the same class. What do you think of her?” Jaehyun talks low beside Taeyong, careful not to get your attention. Yet.
“She’s beautiful. Not gonna lie” Taeyong responds.
“I think that beautiful girl is the one for me. I can’t stop thinking about her, but I want to make it right this time. I’m done playing games-this girl is something”
Taeyong was speechless after hearing what his friend just said. Jaehyun has a reputation of being the university’s cutie and number one playboy, that simply means he can get whoever he wants and Taeyong can only pray that you’re different from every girl in this school.
Helpless and hopeless, Taeyong watches Jaehyun walk towards your table and disturb your peace like how he did with his. Taeyong watched you laugh at Jaehyun’s jokes and Taeyong watched you give your number to Jaehyun. It’s not that he’s disappointed with you for being under Jaehyun’s spell, he’s more disappointed in himself for not saying that he likes you too. Just this once he wanted Jaehyun to back off let him win you, but instead of standing up for himself, he just sat there.
