random headcanons for mha!
• hitoshi drinks strawberry milk
• katsuki spars with ochaco to help her hand to hand combat skills (and eijiro will join occasionally)
• katsuki knows sign language
• izuku secretly listens to heavy rock / metal music. no one would suspect it from him but his anger is only really visible through said music
• eri doesnt snore. she use too but once someone told her she did she did everything in her effort to stop snoring and somehow she did. or chisaki made her airways wider whenever he redid her body
• mina has smile lines
• shoto would never admit it but he tries making his flames hotter so they can burn blue just in case ice isnt enough for a villain
• neito sleeps on his back
• some of the girls secretly want to cuddle mezo because he looks very cuddable with his extra pairs of arms (tsuyu usually snuggles under his arms during the winter.)
• shoto plays pokemon religiously. specifically the old ones because he never did when he was younger
• katsuki plays otome games
• anyone with a pet goes to koji to see if he can find out what's wrong before they go to the vet
• eri refuses to drink anything but apple juice with her breakfast in the morning. but she doesnt throw a tantrum, she just stares at the other drink given to her.

part one!
(i recommend you read through my first set of hcs bc theres a few references jajaja. i did say its a ref. on those points specifically tho lol.)
• katsuki wears hearing aids, but refuses to learn sign language. does he know it? yes, but hes very pissed about it
• even before the final arc, katsukis arms were already very messed up. fighting at the end just worsened it, almost to the point his arm may never recover if he breaks it again (kinda laike izuku)
• katsukis hero costume head gear thingy also works as a muffler on his ears
• katsuki listens to heartbreak songs even if hes never experienced one
• izuku spies on hitoshi when he trains. hitoshi always catches him and its super awkward each time, but they become rly close over time
• izuku plays persona games (nebstar is totally not planning a persona 3 au with bnha characters)
• besides katsuki, the person in the class izuku takes the most notes of is shoto and ochako
• izuku buys hitoshi banana milk (ref. to prev. headcanons lol)
• izuku use to be an undertale fan
• ochako works part time after school at a nearby cafe
• ochako listens to heavy metal when she works out, but her other playlists are early 2000s songs. she asks izuku for recommendations sometimes (referencing pt. 1)
• ochako originally voted for tenya to be class representative, but thought he would be too stuck up so she changed her vote to izuku
• ochako wants to take up sewing, its one of her after school clubs
• tsuyu loves to watch romance shows even though she usually complains about how unrealistic they are
• tsuyu didnt see toru one time, so as she was using her tongue in training and smacked the absolute shit out of her by accident. she still feels bad about it to this day
• whenever its too cold, tsuyu asks mezo if they can cuddle. theres been times (multiple) mezo has to take her to her room because she falls asleep bc hes so warm and gentle
• momo depises wearing pants. she grew up a prim and proper lady so she lives in dresses and skirts. even a majority of her pajamas are night gowns, if not, it has to be a silk matchibg set
• sometimes when the girls notice tsuyu missing her family, specifically her brother and sister, they let her do their hair
• momo has an intense fear of heights, which is why she never gets on roller coasters
• momo listens to classical music. theres no way she doesnt.
• until U.A, momo never had any real friends. even though she went to private school, her 'friends' were very fake and used her for her money
• mina lives in gyaru fashion & makeup outside of school. even during school she tries to do her heavier makeup but is often reprimanded for it
• despite her whole pink aesthetic and room, minas favorite color is actually purple
• mina actually hangs out with eijiro and tetsutetsu a lot
• watches your lie in april every april. and its not one day, its everday of april. and mina cries every time
• hanta moves very well with his quirk, but actually prefers to skateboard
• hanta actually won a skateboarding competition right before enrolling at U.A. bro did some crazy stunts
• when he has nightmares about fighting villains, tape shoots out of hantas arms and hes unaware until the morning when he finds himself covered in tape instead of his blanket
• hanta has a pair of cargo pants for every possible occasion. yes, cargo pants.
• automatically in winter, mezo will wrap his arms around tsuyu to keep her warm and snow away from her.
• even though modified outfits for quirks are actually very common, mezo still cant find coats for his body. he has one and its been through shit. instead he turns into elsa from frozen and says, "the cold doesnt bother me anyways"
• mezo keeps a stuffed animal in his room despite saying having a lot of stuff was unnecessary. he keeps it because it was from the girl he saved when he was younger. she gave it to him and told him if he felt sad that the stuffed animal would be there for him
• mezo would sneak into the city because he hated how he was treated when he was younger. he ended up joining a dance group where everyone was 18 and older. they still reach out to him and support him. literally, they were cheering for him at the sports festival even if he didnf make it to finals
BONUS!
• momo and tenya have study sessions together. since she is the top student he doesnt go to anyone else
• shoto gives nicknames to all his pokemon. they are named after his classmates. there is at least 5 of each classmate as he tries to complete the pokedex (ref. to part one)
• rikido has a big fat crush on one of the girls in class 1-b but doesnt know how to confess or even if she will accept so he bakes cakes for her and gives it to her before school starts
• denki sneezes like a girl and kyoka sneezes like a 50 year old man. they always tease each other about it
• eijiro had a wedgie and pulled it when he thought no one was looking but tetsutetsu and mina did and they will never let it go.

+ katsuki was forced to do ballroom dancing as a child. he actually gave it his all up until he entered U.A so hes fucking amazing
+ tetsutetsu has one of those hot dad bods; like his arms are huge and big, obvious he works out, but his stomach? its a lil rounder, flat. no defined abs. he gives the best cuddles no doubt
+ shoto does monotype runs on his pokemon games
+ shoto also plays pokerogue. he gets frustrated when he cant beat it
+ izuku trades pokemon with shoto to help him complete the pokedex
+ tetsutetsu admires neito secretly, but will never admit it so he doesnt boost the boys pride more
+ pony and tsuyu hang out a lot, and sometimes rikido hangs out with them
+ mina loves horror movies even though they scare the shit out of her
+ sir nighteye dressed up as a disney princess to play with eri once he recovered from the shie hassaikai arc (hes alive in my headcanons shhh)
+ sir nighteye despises the smell of alcohol, so much that he refuses to go to any parties that have alcohol (which is almost all of the ones he is invited too. he never goes out)
+ tsuyu comes from a pretty well off family. not as rich as momo, but she has more money than most people
+ mezo can fly. like, he flaps his arms and theres enough pressure to get that man flying. however, it makes him tired since hes a big boy so he tries not to fly
+ mezo has a very big sweet tooth himself actually. he loves mochi especially
+ denki cosplays during his free time. It is expensive but his parents make decent enough money to support his hobby
+ denki does own a maid outfit, he cosplayed a maid from his favorite anime once
+ best jeanist thinks of katsuki as the son he never had
+ best jeanist crafts baggy jeans and makes katsuki wear them, so he has some style
+ neito has ocd
+ neito is also a clean freak. as in, he hates getting dirty unless it his for hero work. even then, he acts all disgusted and dramatic about it
+ koda loves running through grassy fields
+ koda wants to dance in the rain with somebody
thinking abt my bnha. her quirk being that of the mythical being, naga.
her lower body had been a snake since the day she was born, she didnt know how legs worked, how they felt, what it was like. she has to eat like a snake, only able to hunt for food because she cant eat any cooked or processed meats, only certain veggies and fruits lay good in her tummy without rumbling. shes always dreamt of being able to sit with her classmates and eat with them, be able to like what they like, be able to dance like her best friend, mina.
and then a quirk hits her one day. a quirk that removes these troubles, with its own issues. a quirk that made her fully human, but left her to never be able to walk because she has no bones. she can try; try as hard as she wants. make her muscles burn and tense, only to take a step before feeling completely worn out.
but she still liked to pretend to walk.
another thing? normal food tasted good to her. it smelled good. she finally understood why those foods were so beloved to her classmates. theyd take her to eat at their favorite spots. she looked so happy, nobody even bothered to question why she couldnt walk. but she told them one day, and they had mixed opinions.
but she just smiled, happily. shes always been happy, so sweet and friendly too. thats why she was the sweetheart of the class, and even the grade. hell, might as well be the entire u.a.
speaking of u.a, she was supposed to take a leave, like mirio. she couldnt walk, let alone fight, and she was okay with that. she told aizawa shes okay with missing the hero courses. she just wanted to cheer her friends on by watching from the sidelines, but if its too much of a hassle she wouldve stayed at the dorm. she'll do the chores to the best of her newly-legged abilities if she could.
but aizawa has a soft spot. she was like a daughter to him, and if she wanted to watch her friends, who was he to say no? plus, she said she planned to continue studying, even if she had to change courses to general studies. that wasnt happening on his watch. not yet.
everyone took turns carrying her to school. she always said they didnt have too, she knew she was chubby in her regular form and even in this more humane one, so she doesnt want to be a burden and make them carry her heavy body. but they insisted. especially the boys; especially izuku, tenya, mezo, rikido and eijiro. strong boys who desire to stay strong, stay built, it felt like nothing to carry her.
eri who was so shocked that she had legs. eri who wants to "visit big sis!" on the days aizawa deemed she couldnt attend the class. eri who always looked up to her, eri who smiles wide seeing her "big sis" have legs like shes always dreamed of.
my bnha oc, who use to sleep in a large, warm snake cage, but she couldnt turn into a snake anymore. so she slept on the couch, or occasionally in someones room because they feel bad. she tried to refuse, because she doesnt want to take away their comfort, but they tug at the people pleaser strings in her and get her to sleep in their room.
she was so excited to be able to use a microwave to heat up leftovers. she was excited to wear underwear, to wear pants. she llovedwearing cute fluffy socks too, because she felt everything with her tail, but with feet? everything felt so weird. the floor, the grass, everything. but she loved everything at the same time
the class pitches in money, buying a wheelchair for her. she began to cry, because shes never had friends, let alone ones who would buy something for her. promises to pay them back despite their protests, asking for the exact number they put into it, each and everyone person. she would pay them back one way or another.
she was in class, using her wheelchair. neito doesnt even have anything to say, because hes not even cruel enough to try and pick at a girl who cant walk because shes never had legs, let alone the bones to do so. she watched the fight between classes to show their progress, the one in the winter she was supposed to join. hitoshi going up and talking to her because shes one of the few people who broke through his shell. she cheered for her class, she cheered for class 1b, she cheered for everyone. their hearts melted.
mirio inviting her to hang out since he was on leave, and she didnt have to attend classes. she agreed, and they get closer with eri. they almost looked like a family. a family that never stopped smiling, and where enjoying life.
she learnt how to cook, and she learned quick. since she couldnt train on her free time she looked up recipes. she cooked for the class the second she got to the dorms since she left early. she cooked the best homemade meals, and it reminded her classmates of their mothers cooking. even better dare i say.
her snake traits come back slowly one day. her nails sharper, pupils dilating. her tongue darting out when shes happy. hissing whenever shes really excited. and worse of all, she couldn't be near kojis bunny because the urge to eat his bunny was strong.
her fangs are hanging over her lips again. her legs feel rough. scales are appearing and flaking off, like it was shedding time. but she wanted to pretend for a little longer. tears are flowing from her eyes as she stares at the meal she cooked that evening. steak, mashed potatoes, rice, a hearty salad, smoked fish, it was a whole buffet that probably smelled delicious to them.
she is smiling through her tears as the pants she wore were on the floor, ripped as her legs were no longer there. she wasnt normal anymore. she was back to that snake like self she loathed because everyone around her growing up shamed her for it.
"dinners ready." she says, her voice cracking. her plate had nothing but a few raw vegetables only found in the forest leading down to the city.
thinking about my bnha oc, who has returned to feeling like an outcast. an out of place monstrosity. but she still smiles, even if shes crying. because she felt normal for once.
think about my bnha, who still pretended to eat dinner that night with the others, still used the wheelchair everyone bought her, and still pretended she had legs. all with a tear stained face and rehearsed smile.
