[1:54] you sit by yourself in the convenient store as the sun began to set in front of you. just like everyday you woke up at six a.m and got ready, just like everyday you did your assignments in class and kept your grades up, just like everyday you rode the bus to the small corner store that you worked at. yet this day to be exact, felt different from the others. the instant ramen in front of you was halfway empty and the plastic bottle of juice unopened. as you leaned in for another bite, the sound of the door bell echoed throughout the small building. a rather tall boy with blonde hair and a similar school uniform that you wore everyday. you both make eye contact, the uncomfortable silence was too much to bear so the boy decided to start talking. “hi i came to apply for a job the other day…” he trailed his eyes down to a small part of the table. “what’s your name?” “ni-ki.” you gave him a small yet friendly smile, “i’m y/n, nice to meet you. i like your hair.” the shy boy trailed his eyes back up to your face, returning the smile.
