Alright, here’s Nilakanta. He’s an original character of mine and he’s actually pretty old (don’t say that to his face thought). He’s also part of a few stories I’m writting.

So, yeah.

He’s a great guy, but he’s also moody. (Duh, he’s a dragon and dragons are bipolar).

Hello! This is very exciting for me. This is my first real piece of digital art using a Wacom tablet. It took me a little while to get used to, but after maybe an hour or so of testing I got the hang of it.

So, I drew this so people could get a visual image of what Nilakanta looks like, but I just gave basic details like the ones you see above.

I’m actually really happy with the result and I hope people enjoy my art as well.

Progress!! If anyone is wondering, I'm making a comic about Nilakanta and this is one of the pages. Maybe... I still have to decide. Anyways, I probably won't be able to finish it this week because of school, so I'll try to at least make some progress for next week. Cheers! Nilakanta (the purple lord), Tis Neromy (the blue guy in the picture) and Havaron (the red guy in the picture) all belong to me.

I just finished him during my math class and I’m happy with the result. He’s not half bad for being evil, but still.

Anyways. I should introduce him. This is Nigathesis, the corrupted version of Nilakanta. (If people are wondering, there is a reason Nilakanta is currupted, but I won’t say for good reasons.)

I managed to do a little drawing of Nilakanta and Nigathesis. Hope people like it. I’m working on bigger projects, so these little ‘doodles’ will have to do for now.

There is the first and second version of Nilakanta’s Symbol. The first one was made on a program called Fresh-paint, while the second one (being more recent) was made on a program called ArtRage lite, which is pretty decent for basic drawing.

The first may not be very pretty, but the remake I made of it is pretty cool. I like it, even though the first wasn’t too bad.

I made this based on another image originally made by the wonderfully talented @anrez-op-skele, but I personalized it for Nilakanta.

I was too lazy to shade, so it’ll do for now. Maybe sometime later I’ll shade and upload it to my deviant art.

Tis Neromy reference sheet. Sort of. I made this to get an overall idea of some of this guys features (like his wings, his tail, his head and his colours). I also just made this because I was bored. Ps. When I'm bored I draw dragons. A lot. Anyways, I'm in the process of writing a story (maybe a comic too) about Nilakanta and this is one of the main characters. Alright. Another WIP I'm trying to clean up. I've started using my pens to trace the outlines but as people can see, my sketches are very messy and complicated. Anyways, just like my Nigathesis drawing (the black dragon with the smoke), I'll post a finished version when it's done. I'm still debating whether or not it should be coloured. The group is SMOKIN! Finished! Finally! They are so beautiful, I can almost believe someone else made them, but NOPE! They're my babies. Alright, I'm going to give a little background to these guys, cause why not? Here goes: - Nilakanta is a dragon. He is known as the Purple Lord, cause he's purple. He's the original character, the main dude, the normal dude, the king of the gods, etc. - The red guys name is Havaron. He's the violent, destructive part of Nilakanta. Has no sense of peace or mercy, yada, yada yada. He's known as the Red King. - The blue guys name is Tis Neromy. He's the loving, lovable, peaceful guy who could never hurt a fly. He's the nice part of Nilakanta. He's known as the Blue King. - The black dude in the background is the result of people screwing with nature and magic. He's the corrupted version of Nilakanta. Pure evil. No mercy, no peace. He's basically the extreme version of Havaron. His name is Nigathesis. I understand if some people will be confused after reading all this, so if you have any further questions, you can ask me. My ask box is always open and these people will be glad to answer. It took me so long to do this and I wanted to show everybody the steps (ish) to what I did to make it the way it was. :)

Honestly, I tried combining two different types of shading and I think it worked out really well. I love it. I’m not gonna lie, I’m proud of it.
