If you're wondering why Rin is dressed and Nitori is not, this is the reason: I was so focussed on getting his body type right (less buff than Rin, but still with some muscles as he's still in the swimming team at a powerhouse swimming school and all) that I totally forgot to draw clothes on him. That is 100% really what happened.
I'm supposed to be drawing goth comics and I spend my morning on this.Β

Free! Winged au (PT: 2)
Hey, everyone! This is part 2 of my dumb bird/winged au for Free! This time... Samezuka boys!
First, the most important boy:
Sousuke Yamazaki
Wing type: Bald Eagle
Wingspan: 14 feet. One wing is 7 feet.
His feathers are ruffled and torn
Shoulder injury, yes PLEASE
Has the most endurance out of all the boys
Can't have Sousuke without his best bud:
Rin Matsuoka
Wing type: Gyrfalcon
Wingspan: 9'6 feet. One wing is 4'8.5
His wings are often mistaken for Snowy Owl (he hates that)
The fastest out of all the boys (sorry Haru)
Is a thrill chaser. He loves gaining altitude and diving
Because of the high speeds he usually flies at, Rin is bad at landing.
The idiot:
Momotaru Mikoshiba
Wing type: Cinnamon Ibon
Wingspan: 7 feet. (Lol his entire wingspan is one of Sousuke's wings) One wing is 3'6.
Has the smallest wings out of the Samezuka boys. (Nagisa's are the smallest of all)
*excited fluttering when talking about BEETLES*
Sea otter "Sparrow of the skies!"

Aiichiro Nitori
Wing type: American Pekin (a.k.a, the white duck. Bruh, what else?)
Wingspan: 7'3 feet (3 more inches than Momo's because of his wing type) One wing is 3'7.5
Like Haru, he doesn't fly much
His wings are the softest. Thus, he often uses them as a blanket.
Just as I anticipated, I'm back with more Free! Content. Oh boy.
I finally got around to drawing a visual representation of the Free! Boys for my Winged! Au. (These are old sketches that I meant to post earlier)
KEEP IN MIND: *wings not proportionate to bodies. Sketch book was of insufficient length*
Later on, I might make a post with the birds that have each character's wing type and label which character has which wings. *Also, forgot to draw Makoto, Rei and Sousuke, so I'll do that in a later post as well* π
