I went to a novus ordo Mass this morning and the young newly ordained priest talked about St. Pious X, the heresy of modernism, the Shroud of Turin, quoted Chesterton, and drove home the need for people to start having conviction in their Faith -and it struck me, it's really encouraging to see that despite everything, tradition and true religion can't be suppressed:

At least 3 local parishes have had major remodels in the past 5 years restoring the classical art styles, bringing beauty back into our places of worship, and undoing the damage done in 1970s.

incense, Latin, veiling, and chant are all finding their way back into the liturgy even in formerly progressive parishes

The TLM communities are filled with young people from all walks of life, getting married, starting families, and taking up religious vocations

Campus ministries are flourishing in the most unexpected ways and places, people are yearning for God and finding meaning and fulfillment in their Catholic faith.

Even as the older "hippy" generations wane, the youth are rushing back to tradition in full force, eagerly bringing back "the old ways".

There is real evil in the world, but the battle is already decided, Satan is losing ground, the demons are thrashing out in desperation trying to drag down as many as they can with them because they know their time is short.

Be bold, keep the Faith, trust in God's plan, we are meant to be warriors not bystanders in the fight.
