step five: pouring boiled water with salt into the filled jars
(one full tablespoon of rock salt for 1l of water)
step six: picking out the appropriate jar lids for your jars and pouring boiling water on them
step seven: putting the jar lids on the jars and tightening them so that no water leaks
(you can wait a moment after tightening them initially and go in for round two of even more tightening, just in case. that’s what i do at least lol, wasn’t part of grandma’s recipe)
