Starting to realize how many of my researcher OCs made deals with the devil...

Writing an OC only to realize they're completely identical to another pre-existing OC (It's okay because you can delude yourself by just saying they're parallels).

Inner Writer: Ooooh, let's give them six arms so they're more spidery! Aaand victorian era-style clothing, so SUPER detailed with web patterns. I think a family crest on their cape would be even cooler!

Inner Artist, bleeding profusely: Pelase... No more...

*sighs dreamily* This would be such a cool AU... if I actually wrote the canon story first.

Looking back, it maybe wasn't the best idea to go out during a blizzard.

Despite wearing complete winter clothes (a sweater, a beanie, a coat, a SECOND coat, winter gloves and boots), the frost still seemed to seep into her skin. Rosy red cheeks a stark contrast to her sickly pale skin. Her dad would be proud, probably. She looked a little less like death.

Regardless, Jade still felt like death. Numbness and the overwhelming chill of snow biting into her. She should be turning back. Back to home. Back to her dad. Back to her siblings. Back to...

She shook her head. She needed to focus on the present. If she didn't find what she needed out here, then she'd be better off dead.
