October is a magical month to be born, here are a few fun facts:

The Anglo-Saxons called October “Winterfylleth” — it means “fullness of winter”. The reason they called it that? It's because October has the first full moon of the winter season.

The flower of October is the Calendula, the stones are opal and tourmaline.

The zodiac signs are Libra (September 23rd- October 22nd) and Scorpio (23rd-22nd November)

October and February both end on the same day. If February ends on a Friday, so will October.

October is Pizza Month in the US

October 6th is National Poetry Day in Ireland & the UK

The full moon in October is known as the Hunter's Moon

Folklore states "When deer are in a gray coat in October, expect a hard winter."
