The GOAT has finally arrived in Beijing! 🥳

The Olympic Games can finally begin. 😃 🙌
He Flew Today, and I Know He'll Fly Again

I'm proud of him regardless of what happened today. He did amazing, and he did claw himself back in, just like he said he would. It wasn't a podium finish, but I'm proud of him for still having had come in fourth at least, despite the taxing effect his quest for the 4A is having on him. His performance, barring those two falls, was beautiful as expected, and I can't wait to see him continue on his way to greatness He already is great, and he doesn't have to prove himself to anyone. He's still the king of figure skating. Amazing attempt on the 4A and I know he'll keep pushing and despite being sad over how the results turned out (I'm still proud of his position though), I'm excited about seeing him in future competitions because I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to retire from competitive skating until he becomes the first person to land the Quadruple Axel.
At least something good came out of today, with his 4A finally being ratified by the ISU. All three winners deserved their victory, and I'm grateful to Nathan for still having the humility to call Yuzuru the greatest, for acknowledging all that he has done for the sport. Truthfully, he is what has made figure skating so well known, and today, at a time when jumps and quads are all anyone cares about, he's the only one who is still keeping the artistic essence of figure skating alive. He said that he wanted to tell a story today, and a story did he tell.

He injured himself during practice, and his right ankle flared up once again today. But he still skated, skated with everything he's got. And when he said that he doesn't "have anything more to give" and thanked the Olympic ice, I cried just a little bit. Yuzuru truly is great. The greatest.

I can't wait to see him at the Gala (PS. He's back to being a baby and wondering why he's invited I'm sobbing).

So proud of them.
