Follow up for my AU
Wanted to say that I am still very much working on it and the artstyle is still in the experimental stages but I think I’m getting to the final look! I have a bunch of plots I wanna make with this and I would like to try make a comic for it at some point but right now I am cooking something else.
About time I did an introduction for my Once Upon a Turtle AU
The AU is set in a fairy tale themed world - yokai are replaced by fae-kind and instead of various combinations of animals, the fae-kind consists of fae, dryads, dwarves, elves, vampires and so on. Mutants here are replaced by chimeras - combinations of at least two animals.
The AU is set in a large kingdom, surrounded by a deep forest, called New Yorkshire. It is surrounded by a wide flowing river, connected to the outer, more poor village by multiple bridges. The turtles live in a dried up, abandoned well on the outskirts of the kingdom, bordering the forest surrounding it, as seen in this post.
