Hotarugusa dreamed of being as strong as her friend Hakuro, the demon king of Shuten Doji and the strong Yoto Hime, but over time Kusa became frustrated and realized that she couldn't have that kind of power. However, after talking to Seimei, she realized that her power lies in something else: she has the ability to heal wounds and uplift the spirits of those around her. Hotarugusa wants to help those around her in any way she can.
