Ah, thanks for clarifying. I'm glad you're starting to become more invincible from huge and powerful destructive stuff. Is there anything you're still physically weak to? Also, are there any forms that you wish you had that are not your overlord or super transformations?

"I highly suggest refraining from questions like that, insect." He growled, his synthetic voice filled with anger. "Even if I did tell you, there would be no guarantee that it wouldn't be a lie. So mind your tongue lest you lose it."

"As for your other question. While I do not need any other forms other than my Super and Metal Madness forms, some other variety would be nice. I am aware of the False Sonic's Hyper Form, which would have, if he still had access to it, been able to end me even at my strongest state due to how potent the energy surrounding him is."

My apologies. Anyway, it would be really awesome to see you in your Hyper form though. You'd look pretty badass and sexy. Also, what are your merits (✔️)?

"My Merits are quite simple. I am an accomplished leader and combatant, I have the potential to shatter mountains and so much more if given time. As long as you are loyal to the Empire it means you're loyal to me. Loyalty earns rewards. Loyalty earns a modicum of trust. Loyalty means I will not keep as close an eye on you unless I feel necessary. Being in my good graces guarantees a long life of calm and joy. Those are my Merits."

Neo stands alone within a valley, the soon to be autumn wind blows past him in a frenzy as a storm approaches the area. Besides him sits the ruined wreck of a large vehicle, already covered in plant life as time went by. 'How long was it?' He muses silently to himself, his head titled towards the rapidly darkening sky, his optics dark. 'Months? Years?' He processed silently, his body as still as a statue. His body remained still even as he heard a footstep come from somewhere nearby.

He will let whoever they are approach, and make the first move should their intent be battle on this hallowed ground.

Lore Post

Hello, @themafiaskeleton here, or Bones as my friends and folks on Spacebattles call me, here with some lore for Metal. Any further posts will have the tag; lore: Written in Iron on it. While I could write this in the Doc, I figured the wall of text should at least be kept short, so I will link this for any future followers to read.

IDW Verse Lore: Already in the doc, it's more or less a Bad End for sonic as he's dead. He still believes himself to be the One True Sonic because the events of the Metal Virus haven't occurred. This also means he doesn't have Sage or know about Starlines... Issues. And he doesn't know about Kit and Surge yet

Archie Verse Lore: Similar to the IDW one, with minor changes. Eggman, or rather, Robo-Robotnik is fully aware of who he is. In this Verse, he tried pulling a fast one on sonic as they retreated away from Neo, causing the Eggmobile to crash and blow up. Normally Robo-Robotnik could up and frick off to another body, however Neo cut him off from the system when he caught him. Just in case he found a way to get himself offed and ultimately find a way to disable Neo. He would put that version of Eggman out of his misery and shortly after kill sonic.

Robotization: Something rarely used unless for something medical. Neo in the Archie Version learned really quick about how sometimes the best answer to a problem is usually the easiest one. Neo was actually surprised to learn that it was initially intended to be for medical purposes, replacing someone's limb in case of being mangled beyond use, and still remained connected to the body in a way that wouldn't have the body reject the placement. As such he mostly uses it for that reason, only using it's ability to fully Robotisize for punishments for the most heinous acts. Such as treason and maybe even outright murder. The Robotisized will spend an allotted amount of time not in control of themselves, forced to do things such as labor and even combat if need be before eventually giving them back their free will. The worse the crime, the worse the time.

Punishments: One could call these cruel. And they are. Speaking out against the Empire would result in the speaker being muzzled, and would remain muzzled 1 month per word spoken. They can still drink, but would have to use a straw to eat. Thieves would have their hands sealed in thick and heavy metal hands clasped in prayer, the time varies depending on theft. Sometimes if the theft is really minor, such as a stolen fruit or vegetable, the thief would either spend a brief amount of time in jail, or be stuck wearing normal hand cuffs. Most punishments are cruel, usually meant to intensely and intentionally embarrass the criminal into not doing it again, lest they suffer more.

Labor: Most hard labor jobs are done by those who are Robotisized or actual robots. Some mines use organics, but those are paid to do their jobs. Slave labor, to Neo, is highly inefficient. Too much chance for a rebellion and Organics take years to replace meanwhile a robot can be made within mere hours. Farming is almost done exclusively by organics utilizing heavy machinery, while the robots, and occasionally organics, transport the goods to the correct processing plants.

Life within the Empire: To those outside of the empire, all they will see is an evil, hateful tyrant(which they aren't wrong) and people suffering because of it(they are partially wrong). To most within the empire however, it is wonderful. There are no slums as they are almost always kept clean and people have enough money to get by either comfortably or uncomfortably. Remain loyal, and you will be happy. Become disloyal, and you will suffer.

Disloyalty: It is most common within communities outside of the bigger cities of the empire. Those who take Neo's "kindness" for granted and turn to crime to make an extra buck or to the freedom fighters to be "free" of Neo. Those places are unofficially considered outside of the Empire. After all, you can't be apart of the empire if you're loyal. "Those slums aren't the slums of the Empire." Neo once said, "Those are the slums of those who are not loyal. Who are not patient. They are not a part of the Empire until they earn it."

Loyalty: Loyalty is a currency most valuable in the Empire. By proving you are loyal allows you to step up further and faster in life. It can lead to you not having your house checked for treason unannounced as much, even to the point you are told about it before it happens. You'll find yourself getting promotions easier and faster than others. You may even be rewarded by Neo himself with a medal.

Military: Known as the EAF or the Empire Armed Forces, it is mostly made up of Robots, however, a good chunk of the army is made up of organics, both Overlander(Humans too), and Mobian. They are given gear that allows them to withstand attacks from ballistics and laser weaponry. They are often used as spies as well. Sneaking into locations and pretending to be an ally for any resistances.

Resistance/Freedom Fighters/G.U.N.: Neo hasn't made it a priority to constantly be after them. Without the false Sonic to guide them, they are merely ants to be crushed underfoot. He will only fight them if he feels it is necessary.

The Master Emerald: It is still within his possession, hidden away within the capital and protected by all sorts of wards and technology. The location is not on any file, both digital and paper. Only Neo knows where it is, and even then, he will not use it unless absolutely necessary. The chamber they are in is reminiscent of the Alter on Angel Island, lacking the Seven Chaos Emeralds. Those too, have yet to be a priority for Neo.

The Memorial Garden: A popular attraction within the Empires capital of New Robotropilis. It is heavily guarded by all matters of security to preserve the garden, you must pay to enter and have offerings to the graves. It is freely open to the Public on the birthdays and death days of the dead inhabitants. It is a beautiful garden. In the center stands a golden statue, depicting both Sonic and Eggman back to back, their heads titled to be looking at each other over their shoulders while facing the rival's grave. The path is made of marble, and the hedges are laced with blue and red flowers. The graves themselves also are special. For sonic, covered by an arch of marble and hedge, his tombstone is made from lapis lazuli, shaped in his emblem with a pair of green emeralds for the eyes. For Eggman/Robo-Robotnik, also covered by an arch, his tombstone was made also in his emblem, aka his logo. It is made out of Red Jasper, and the eyes are made out of zircon.

"It is only natural to respect them both. They have done many great things, and thus should remembered as such."

Both graves have silent and wireless alarms, and the coffins are made out of various non corrosive metals and are airtight. Breaching either grave will have Neo come after you.

I am a sucker for the Enemies to Lovers ship dynamic. Plus it's the only one that'll be available to Neo on the sonic side of things too-
