Just a thought on Jimin's voice

I have always loved Jimin's voice the most, of the seven. It may not be the best voice of the seven, but it is the most mesmerising and charming to me.

Even when it was unstable and straining, there was something beautiful in its raw fragility that cut me like a knife.

Listening to him singing with the acoustic guitar his voice sounds like it's healed.

I can't help drawing a parallel with his progression from the despair and anger he showed in FACE to the giddy joy and lightness of MUSE.

He seems at ease in a way we haven't seen before.

I think his gentle heart has healed too.

Just a thought....

The lyrics for the songs Jimin wrote in Muse are so interesting when translated correctly 💜😭

Smouldering in fact... there's red hot passion in these lyrics. They would melt uranium..... But they're also sensual.

If JK wanted to tell us he was an adult with SEVEN, Jimin is telling us the same thing but with very different language.

The obvious difference is that SEVEN wasn't written by JK or inspired directly by his own feelings, so there's a performative element to it. Whereas Jiminie's words are so tender and heartfelt, he sounds so authentically in love.

Thank you Colin! He's one of the few reasons I'll visit x/tw these days.

What an absolutely stunning performance of Slow Dance by Jimin and Sophia Carson. Sophia's beautiful voice was a perfectly chosen addition to this song.

He extended an invitation for Sophia to accept to the extent she chose.

Jimin's manners hands not even making contact, and his face turned away.
