Patomaherpo - Tumblr Posts

patomaherpo, more commonly called a bed crawler, are unique ostoexoapo, they scurry across the beds of bodies of water, filtering any and all edible particulates, larvae, etc out of the substrate, they have evolved a third eye in order to sense any movement above them, they cant swim due to the structure of their limbs, being only able to jump or burrow or walk, they dig into the substrate once theyve mated and then they let their young hatch inside them and eat the oviparent from the inside out, they dont have many ways to avoid any predators lurking around for them besides running away or sneaking between rocks and waiting for the predator to give up, though ◗ta scholars have found that in recent history a handful of species of patomoherpo have been seen crawling out of the ammonia to avoid their predators, though they need to be fast and smart about it since they can only last about a minute out of the ammonia before suffocation, if you have any questions about this organism please dont be afraid to ask i am more than happy to answer
