I'm still 100% on team alex!!! Karleen is just annoying me rn to be honest. She has absolutely no right to be jealous!!!
Okay so thoughts: I was kinda maybe starting to understand karleen but she ruined all of it at the end like bruh...what the hell? TEAM ALEX ALL THE WAY (and that freaking songđ)! and also caireelđ how I've missed themđ„ș it's so cute how they were the ones trying to cheer up pearl and give her advice now. #FriendshipGoals
Soooo that ending with the video was probably the most awkward thing that could've ever happened. I feel bad for karleen to be honest but I'm in no way in hell rooting for her...she had her chance and I think she already lost it. And also what's with the 'i dont want you to be with alex cause i like you but i dont know if i wanna be with you' thing? That was just really selfish. She really needs to make up her mind if she wants even a small percentage of a chance with pearl.
Also the thing with fonzy and gino...that's bound to end in a mess, ain't it?đ€ŠđŸââïž
I dont know how to feel about this one...alex felt so ooc the whole episode. It's like they decided to show us all her flaws in this one, all packed and jammed. I mean I'm all for flawed characters and character developments in shows but this seemed forced and too much for one character in one episode. This is the girl who's been there for pearl throughout the whole show, comforting her when she gets hurt and never pressuring her to do anything she doesnt want to and not rushing her on decisions but suddenly she goes KABOOM when pearl asks if they should check on karleen cuz of the guy harassing her? Seems a bit sketch to me. My baby alex deserved better. And pearl did too. I dont know about you guys but this whole thing felt like a way to get us to get on the pearleen ship and I ain't down for that.
Did anyone understand that ending? Why was pearl crying? Was it because she was heartbroken that karleen left or because she was happy that alex finally called her back? I'm confused. It doesnt sound like pearl to cry because her crush (ex-crush?) decided to go to her best friend in a rush after an emergency call. She even admitted that she would do the same thing if it was Gav but maybe she was just mad that the confession and the whole surprise thingy was ruined? Idk I'm confusedđ also Alex...its nice to see that she still cares...thank goodness for small victories! But I still dont have any idea what pearl is thinking right now. It kinda seems to me that shes leaning a bit to the karleen side though.
Also that whole mess with Gino and fonzy was cleared up without much of a fuss so hallelujah praise the lordđ
Well...that happened. And honestly I feel wierdly satisfied with that ending. Pearl chose herself and that was the smartest choice she could've made. She told Alex that even if they end up together she couldnt give her a 100% back and Alex didn't deserve that (no one deserves that) and she told Karleen to try and move on from her past before they can have a present and maybe a future cause let's be real if they jumped into the relationship wagon straight away they wouldve just hurt eachother. I'm hoping we get a season 2 because I really wanna see how this ends but for now, for this season, i think they gave us a justifiable endingâ€
