People Need To Gain Media Literacy - Tumblr Posts

I need to preface I’m not a gale stan nor lover, but some people need to gain media literacy and a brain because Gale is not all that bad. People overlook all the good he did just because he indirectly killed Prim, was pushy towards Katniss in picking him or Peeta, and just snarky comments he made towards hijacked-Peeta.

But he has done a lot of good. He had put his name in that bowl 42 times to feed his family, saved almost 1,000 during the bombings in 12 at the end of catching fire, and took care of Katniss’ family while she was in the games. He was so brainwashed and manipulated by Coin to be a pawn in her game.

He has selfishness that any other person has, but people need to stop putting him in the same category as Snow and Coin.
