crow therian here, if you get phantom limbs, where do you usually get them? I usually get phantom wings on my back, but can feel feathers on my arms sometimes. If you don't get phantom limbs then another question: do you like MoTHs

OMG HI!!! i think i’ve answered a question like this before but i mainly get phantom crest feathers! when i’m shifted i get wings, a beak, toes etc

i’ve also noticed that it feels like i’m moving imaginary muscles to move my crest, does anybody else get that? like i know logically i look ridiculous raising my eyebrows so much when excited BUT IM RAISING MY CREST!! I JUST HAVE MUSCLES THAT ARENT THERE

Ok ok but for my nonhumans that get phantom shifts,

How AWSOME would it be for them to appear irl????

Like you’re hanging out with your close friends or maybe your partner and they do smth that makes you happy and you’re able to show that by wagging your tail that just magically appears!

Or maybe you’re with people that make you feel safe and protected and suddenly your wings pop out! (Or on the flip side they pop out to protect from potential danger)

Or maybe you’re out exploring and you hear a sudden sound and poof! Your *real* ears pop out atop your head and face the direction of the unknown noise!

Perhaps you’re in a dangerous situation and suddenly huge claws appear to protect you!

And there’s SO MANY other situations where this stuff could apply!!! Just think how amazing that would be!!
