Hey so I just found out that the term “kinnie” is basically a slur to our community and I had no clue. I tagged a lot of my otherkin related posts with it bc I thought it was just another term so I’m really sorry if I offended someone!! I went through and tried to delete that tag from all my posts that have it but I’m not totally sure if I got all of them so if you see a post of mine with that tag please lmk so I can remove it!

Edit: so idk if I got the correct information? I’ve heard it being comparable to a slur but now I’m hearing that it’s just incorrect and idk which one is right. I think I’ll still try to remove the tag to prevent any discomfort.

Edit 2: ok so it’s definitely not a slur, more like something that the community’s opinion varies on. Good to know 😅

Pronouns do not indicate gender. Someone can be a girl and go by he/him pronouns. Someone can be a boy and go by she/her. Someone can be nonbinary and go by she/he or literally anything else. Gender is fake, let people mix and match. It’s not gonna hurt the community I promise.

At the same time, sexuality is not all rules and stuff. Someone can be a boy and lesbian if that’s what suits them. Someone can be a girl and mlm if that’s what suits them. There’s no reason why we have to be so uptight about this.
