It comes to over a hundred pounds, not enough to encumber him too badly, though about half that is just food (with the BG it’s about 150, he’ll need to use another of his spell slots to keep from being encumbered )

(On a side note, I’m not quite as pleased with the lines on this one as a whole as the one I had last night, but… bluh. Not like I was going to do anything else with those four hours I lost anyway, and I’m rather satisfied overall despite everything.)

Last time he complained about being drawn like a wimp and too thin. Well, I tried to right my wrong from last time and add some bulkyness and well tones muscles to him.
Would look better if I had actually some more knowledge about pony anatomy, but hey the thought counts, right?

he looks up from the counter where he is examining some of his stones “Hello there, how can I help you? You seem familiar somehow, have we met before?”
“Nice to meet you miss Rose. By themselves, no my jewels don’t have any magical properties. However, I do have a small selection that should be perfect for enchanting if you can find somepony skilled in that ability.” he walks over to a small display case in the corner “Here are a few, I have more in storage. Which one you’d need depends on the kind of spell you have in mind.”
*The mare follows the Kirin to the gems in the corner.* Oh wow *She admired the gems* These are very pretty. I’m looking for those that can have protective and offensive spells placed within them. Those that can hold emotions as well if possible. *She looks up to him hopefull* would you also know anypony who can enchant?
”I don’t know any enchanters personally, but I have heard of a pair named Varmo and Vent. Not sure if they’re still in business though. As for the gems.
The opals are your best bet for protection spells; sapphires have an affinity for countermagic; The obsidians, no pun intended, can be enchanted with slaying spells but the darker creatures of the world tend to be a bit resistant to it; Rubies are the simplest measure for offensive spells; and finally emeralds can be used to enhance strength and toughness.
Emotions, well that’s a funny thing. I’ve found they all have an affinity for different ones. Opals lean towards the altruistic and the want to protect. Sapphires are better for curiosity and logic. Obsidian, that leans towards ambition and well… hatred. Ruby is connected to emotions in the spectrum of passion and fear, the more wild ones you could say. Emeralds are a tricky one. They’re almost the lack of emotions, more like primal needs. One I can attribute to them however, is a kind of ‘hunter’s instict’. The readiness to kill, but not out of malice, rather the will to survive.
*smiles slightly embarrassed*

They can be used in either fashion, whichever you prefer. Go ahead and pick out which ones you like, prices are already marked.
*She smiled and placed the bag into her saddle bag.* Thank you kindly…wait what? *Her face twisted into worry.* Which forest and is this anywhere in the direction of the badlands?

“The northern reaches of Everfree, and yes actually.” he shakes his head a bit “I haven’t checked it out personally, but it’s putting out a lot of nasty vibes. I hope you aren’t going out there.”
*She cringes* Sadly I’ve got to help out a family member but with these- *She hops on the spot to make her saddle bag move* -It should help. *smiling nervously* Thanks for the heads up though.

this is his OC, (actually his ponysona) OBSIDIAN! (why did i just yelled that..). He asked for me to draw him doing…. anthing. I was in a pickle drawing this. cuz it was either “this” ooorrr draw him as a pinata. squee~

Also I uploaded two versions one with and one without scales, I’m not exactly sure which I prefer, decide yourself ^^
