The AO3 homepage. The background is a light pink and text is a dark maroon. There is a floral background behind the headers for Find your Favourites and News.
The same page with the user dropdown menu open. Each line item in the menu has a different shade of pink as a background colour.
The user's dashboard page. The links at the top of the page have a darker pink background and lighter pink text. The buttons on the page are a mid-toned pink with light pink text. The header for Fandoms has a background that matches the dashboard links.
The work search page. The button for the page you are currently on is a deeper colour than the others and has a dark outline. The text entry fields are a darker pink than the pale background.
A fic blurb. Archive warnings have a dark maroon background and light pink, bold text. Relationships have a background slightly darker than the page, and a dark border around each tag. Character tags are bold and grey. Additional tags are medium pink.
The post new work form. All areas of the page have the same background colour, but each element of the form has a border around it to separate it from the others.
The filter menu with the Include Ratings options open. Its background matches the rest of the site and there is no border around the sidebar.
The Fandoms page. Each fandom category has a darker pink header and footer with lighter pink background in the centre where the links are. The Anime & Manga link has been visited and is a more muted colour. The Books & Literature link has not been visited and is brighter on the dark background.

I was going for vibe-y and monochromatic and I went super hard on the latter. If this looks like a thing you'd want (or want to edit), you can find the code here.

Credit to @ao3skin for the code that I modified to change the menu colours and adjust the tags. I literally could not do that without copy/pasting your stuff first 💗

Editing to add: I included the hex codes for the colours in an end note, so if you like the idea but want a different colour, there ya go
