I’ll bite: Bear with me, I don’t know anything about Genshin, but what is tourism like for each nation? What’s the connection between those and gluttony and obesity and culture and all that, if any? And for that matter, for nations like Fontaine and Monstandt, are their care and accessibility for high-bmi citizens better than the others? What about health care? Sorry if these are scattered or too much, pick and choose what you like!
What a goldmine of an ask!!! I'll talk about the tourism in these regions in order:
Inazuma:
This nation is VERY far away from all the others, located in some small islands, and up until we as players solve the issue in that region, tourism or visits from any outlander was violently prohibited. After the events of the game, other people can step into the land once more and I think there was even an event talking about the new tourism.
Now, obviously Inazumans are the healthiest of the bunch of nations, so even if they can receive food from other nations, it's still kind of a societal rule to mantain a fit physique, so nothing much changes here. Well, I can imagine a couple people might grow fat after having access to Fontainian food, but that'd be a very small percentage. I also feel like nobody from Fontaine or even Mondstadt might visit this place due to the high judgement towards large people.
Sumeru:
Most tourists don't even try to visit Sumeru's vast arid desert, so the main place which attracts visitors would be Sumeru city or the famous trading port at the south. Food is awesome in Sumeru, it's definitely one of the top visit spots for Fontainians.
Sumerians are very smart, they know how to make the most out of opportunities, so they cater to Fontainians to push their tourism and culinary industries. There are special restaurants made just for these hedonistic visitors, filled with reinforced chairs and the constant smell of food. They're one of the busiest locals of the city, even if their clients arent even residents. They also have places to give them massages, which do surprisingly well due to the struggles many Fontainians face because of their morbid obesity. It's pretty common for them to go on small vacations to Sumeru just for this reason.
Liyue:
If Sumerians knew how to make an extra buck thanks to people from Fontaine, Liyueans knew how to turn that into a thriving business.
Vacation sites were built in highly visited places of the region for the very wealthy Fontainians, most of who were on the verge of immobility or already bedridden and wanted to continue enjoying life instead of being stuck in their rooms. Daily buffets, personal professional care, baths in hot springs, they had built a system to keep these people constantly happy and overfed. They would almost purposefully fatten up their clients to ensure they enjoyed the experience so much they'd be willing to come back and spend even more money on not only food, but equipment and manpower to move their bodies, something that would make them more money the heavier the person was.
Mondstadt:
Wine, party, beer, party, wine, party, beer, party, wine...
By far the friendliest region, they welcome everyone to come and indulge with them. "Come onn, couple more beers won't hurt, you don't often come here!" It's always festival after festival for them. A marriage happened? Everyone in the neighborhood is invited to a gallon of wine and a free buffet!
Mondstadt gets a lot of visitors, especially businessmen from Liyue or students from Sumeru's academia to destress and meet some new faces. Now, it's known that if you stay there for too long you'll most likely come back with a beer gut and some ill-fitting clothes.
Fontaine:
Oh boy, the land of hedonism, what is there not to say about this place.
There's a popular saying in the land of Teyvat when you're often told as a joke when you put on a lot of weight; "Have you been to Fontaine?". It's not like they're wrong to think that, either.
It's a known fact that setting foot in Fontaine guarantees you'll come back home fatter, it's almost a rule of nature.
Food in Fontaine is not a joke, it is pretty much half of what makes a Fontainian a Fontainian. There are almost as many restaurants as there are residential buildings, and they're always filled to the brim.
People from other nations visit the region either for work or for tourism. Most of the people who go to Fontaine for professional matters only remain for a day, two, or just a couple of them, but they're likely to come back home sporting a small belly they never noticed before coming there. However, there are some people whose jobs require them to visit Fontaine often, whether it's a mechanic from Sumeru repairing Fontainian robots every week, or a worker delivering goods from Fontaine to Liyue and vice versa. These people gain the nickname "cochon étranger" by Fontainians, which translates to "foreign piggy". This is because they witness how these people come back heavier and heavier each time, something that's happend so much it warranted it's own name.
Of course, tourists who come to Fontaine are sort of doomed to grow fatter, especially if they stay for more than a couple of days.

Went on a walk through Fontaine and took photos to explain how the nation is very adapted to morbid obesity

The F.ontaine male characters from the Genshin obesity AU as well as important individual information in their character sheets :]

If you have any questions about them, my askbox welcomes you!!!
If I could try my hand at another world building ask, (glad you liked the first by the way, I definitely felt myself wanting to do some tourist-ing after reading your response ;) how about living situations and layouts for homes and houses? Are Fontaine homes much roomier and with wider doors, more ramps, less steps? Do Mondstadt people usually have roommates, due to the encouraged freedom, thereby allowing more lifestyles to meet and hedonistic habits to spark? Are Sumer and Liyue architects becoming more conscious of obesity? And does Inazuma keep enforcing more building codes and laws that aim to discourage any potential rising obesity rates? I have a couple more questions and ideas, if you'd like to hear :)
yess, wonderful question!
Starting with Fontaine, you've probably seen one of my latests posts where I went around the map and noted just how wide the streets and interiors of this region are.
On the topic of their homes, they are definitely built with the intent of housing super obese residents. Fontainians have had centuries to perfect their building designs, after all.
Usually, if a house has more than one floor, the most lightweight members will live in the upper floor, while the heavier ones would remain in the ground floor, for obvious reasons. Homes almost never have any stairs either, fully relying on elevators.
Most family homes host at least one person weighing over 1000 pounds, usually being the father, so houses are already prepared for those nearing the verge of immobility, or people who have already become bedridden. Bathrooms are required by law to be large enough to hold a 2500 pound person with enough room, and though most houses don't have people that big, it is still of great help to the super obese residents. Most people can also afford machines installed on the bathroom walls to wash the bodies of those who get too exhausted doing it.
Indoor mobility aids are a must, like the handrails which are part of every Fontainian household, going through all the walls of their house's halls to facilitate getting around without becoming too exhausted. Grab bars are also commonly found next to beds and sofas.
Of course, every single piece of furniture is reinforced in advance. In Fontaine they're the norm, so they're never referred to as "reinforced". Aside from being much larger than those from other nations, beds and sofas in Fontaine are always covered with sweat absorbent sheets.
Now off to Mondstadt, I believe the architecture wouldn't be as different as it currently on the actual game. Despite the constant encouragement to indulge, the circumstances aren't as perfect as they're in Fontaine to allow the development of such an extreme level of morbid obesity. 83% of Mondstadtians are still mobile and light enough to be physically able to go up stairs and such, but that 17% still remains, and though not as extreme as Fontaine, it is not that rare to stumble upon men heaving their thousand-pound bodies around, which is why some homes are built for these people, sharing certain elements found on Fontainian homes to a less extreme extent.
Liyueans somehow have built houses ready to house extremely obese residents, despite the fact that the Liyueans who have reached the point of immobility after too many work or touristic visits to Fontaine have moved to Fontaine itself. And why is that? To encourage Fontainians to move to Liyue.
As mentioned in the last ask, Liyueans have some vacation sites set up that attract Fontainians from across the land so they can profit off the exhorbitant money covered by personal care and food. Sly Liyuean businessmen often talk with these clients and convince them to move to Liyue so they can continue enjoying the great care they provide, which explains why some buildings in the exteriors of the city resemble those of Fontaine.
Sumerian households are unadapted to house the super obese, as Fontainians don't go there looking for real estate, on top of the fact that Liyue has already snatched them of that business and have much more wealth and means to build these type of residential buildings. Inazuma hasn't even considered adapting their cities to facilitate the lives of very large people as it goes against their beliefs.
As a fun fact, the last thing to mention here is that other than native Fontainians, the second largest group of people living in Fontaine are Liyueans. After several years, almost every merchant who ships goods to Fontaine and settles for some days selling their stock will end up too obese to live comfortably back in Liyue, so it is not an uncommon thing to stumble upon quite more Liyuean people than those from other nations when visiting Fontaine!

A peek into one of Neuvillette's diary entries

Got some people asking for it, so yes, Childe would be a very clear candidate to become huge in this AU thanks to his job!!

Im gonna make it so C.hilde and W.riothesley stumble upon eachother often, and Wrio just cannot stand him, I think that'd be fun
Also sidenote but I need to see these two having sweaty smex and watch them start panting after 5 minutes

two portrait sketches of Neuvillette's bust, likely drawn by one of his assistants while he was asleep.
Assisting Monsieur Neuvillette: A guide on how to help a 12,000 pound man shower
This guide has been written by me, Jean-Pierre Larousse, the current person in charge of making sure monsieur Neuvillette meets his hygienic needs. I write this with a heavy heart, as I'm not sure I will be able to continue working with him. My weight has spiked once more, and getting around has become incredibly tasking if not outright painful. That said, if you're reading this, it must mean I've already become bedridden myself and you've been hired to replace me.
Without further ado, I'll explain the necessary steps to ensure Monsieur receives a successful shower before his bedtime:
Step 1: Check the equipment
Before bringing monsieur Neuvillette, inspect the metal platform he will be laying on.
Ensure the hydraulic cylinders made strategically to lift, lower, and tilt the front and back platforms are working as intended by changing their positions. Report to an engineer if the system doesn't work as intended.
Check that the water distribution components, such as the high-pressure water jets and nozzles, as well as the mechanical arms around the platform respond naturally to the directions set.
Raise the metal platform in the back, as that is where Monsieur will sit on.
Step 2: Bring monsieur Neuvillette
Monsieur Neuvillette should be fully undressed by now. He will insist that he is capable of dragging his body to the platform on his own. Most times he is able to do so, but always be prepared to give a hand if he asks for assistance.
Once he sits on the raised platform, you will hear heavy groaning coming from the contraption. Do not panic, as it is a common occurrence and it is just getting adapted to the tons of weight suddenly being put on it.
Ensure Monsieur is comfortable and stable on the support platform, adjusting its tilt and height if necessary.
Conduct a small but thorough assessment of his body to make sure there are no infections or skin irritations prior to the bath. Note that the slight reddened skin around stomach and limbs should be of no major concern.
Step 3: Prepare Monsieur for the shower
Elevate the platform sitting at the front of the contraption and directly under monsieur Neuvillette's stomach. Be very slow and steady, make sure all of his stomach is fully raised so his private area can be reached during the washing process.
Place the cloth around the lifting slings above Monsieur directly under the fat of his arms, then slowly tighten the slings to raise his arms so his armpits can be reached by the mechanical arms.
Step 4: Initiating the Washing Process
Start the control system and ensure that all components are functioning properly once more before beginning the washing process.
Gently initiate the washing apparatus, including water jets, soap dispensers, and brushing systems, according to the specified settings. Monsieur prefers to have water be poured at a lower pressure at first so his body adapts to the temperature change more smoothly.
Step 5: Beginning the shower
Increase the intensity of the shower handles. Water should be spraying all of his body.
Activate the mechanical arms around Monsieur. If set up properly, they'll begin washing every crevice of his body thoroughly.
The size of monsieur Neuvillette's body will require you to refill the mechanical arms' body wash dispensers a minimum of three times to ensure he's properly cleansed everywhere.
Step 6: Rinsing and Drying
Once the washing process is complete, initiate the rinsing system to remove soap and cleanse the individual's skin thoroughly.
Activate the drying system, which employs warm air blowers to ensure Monsieur is comfortably dry.
Approach him and cover your hands with baby powder, then make sure to place the powder inside the deeper crevices of his body, especially under his breasts, on his armpits, and the lower side of his stomach. This extends the period of time those hidden, inner folds stay dry, even if they start glistening with excess sweat once again shortly after the shower either way.
Step 7: Completing the Process
Once fully dried and pampered, assess Monsieur's comfort level and begin to lower the platform under his stomach back down so it touches the ground once more.
Detach the lifting slings from his arms to let them rest against his sides like before.
Aid monsieur Neuvillette in getting back up as best as you can. He will start dragging his body towards his bed. Do not call the helper responsible for his dressing up process, as Monsieur chooses to sleep nude to avoid unnecessary perspiration at night.
I wish this guide helps you look after Monsieur the same way I did. If you have any doubts, pay me a visit at my house in Rue Beurre. As a farewell, I'll end this letter with this photo I took during his previous weekly bath, so you can get an idea of what to expect.

Meilleures salutations,
Jean-Pierre Larousse
What does the Archon de Fontaine think about her citizens being the most obese in Teyvat? And what do the other archons think?
Pfft, Lady Furina? She couldn't care less!

Her whole character can be described as 'insecurity and ineptitude behind a very shoddy act of greatness'. She's pretty much the least capable and least powerful archon we've met thus far, even if she acts all mighty. Fontainians don't even rever her as the goddess she is, to them she is just a celebrity (stuff we're told about at the start of Act 1 of the archon quest). If anything, Neuvilliette is more respected than her!
That's why she wasn't really able to control just how capable her people were, creating all these machines and building a safe haven to be protected from monsters by themselves. And that's also why she couldn't really do much when Fontainians eventually began...getting soft.
Centuries later, most Fontainians weigh at least 600 pounds, and tens of thousands of people have grown so massive they can't even move anymore. Hell, she's been alongside Neuvillette since the day she was born, and she witnessed first-hand how he went from a toned and empowering dragon taken human form into today's 12,000 pound mass of distended, sweaty flesh.
Furina is pretty much the person most desensitized to obesity in Teyvat. In her mind she knows nothing can be done about the rising extreme obesity of her nation, and the centuries she's lived have taught her to be at peace with that.
Venti (Mondstadt's archon) is much the same, not only allowing, but encouraging his people to grow fatter, so he's very happy with the way things are looking for Fontaine.
Zhongli (Liyue's archon) is not one to butt into other people's business, and Fontaine's situation has resulted in an increase of his nation's wealth, so... let's say he doesn't plan on stopping Fontaine from continuing to grow.
Nahida (Sumeru's archon), on the other hand, always shows a bit of concern. As the goddess of wisdom, she knows that "objectively" what's happening over there is not good, but the people from Fontaine just look so content with their lives and so accustomed to being so massive, she doesn't know what to feel about the situation.
Raiden Shogun (Inazuma's archon), though, has no interest working with Furina or the people from Fontaine. They are the contradiction of what Inazuma considers a healthy, thriving nation, something that is made clear by how unwelcomed Fontainians are in their land.
Alright, after having played the recent Fontaine archon quest and finally meeting Wriothesley in-game, I've been doing some brainstorming:
So, we now know Wrio is sort of the overseer of the Fortress of Meropide where all exiles from the nation live, and we also know people there live secluded from the life of the rest of Fontaine.
Does that mean obesity isn't a thing over there?
Quite the opposite...actually. I think the exiles would be even more obese, and with reason!
Right under the fortress lies the primordial sea, containing water that kills Fontainians on contact in the canon of the game. What if being near that sea also has some effects? And I'm not talking about like OoOoH magical weight gain stuff. I feel like Fontainians who live near that water for long periods of time unkowingly have their energy be slowly drained, causing them to grow more fatigued as the months pass by, being too tired to do anything other than...well, eat!
600-800 pounds is the average weight for a Fontainian in the city? That's nothing compared to the pools of lard living in the Fortress! Grunts and panting echo through every part of the building, full immobility is pretty much 100% guaranteed if you get exiled there. The untrained nose better prepare for the overwhelming air of sweat and grease!
The exiles get the most calorie-packed unhealthy junk as their only alimentary option, as there's just so many mouths to feed and they can't afford more "balanced" diets. That paired up with the growing fatigue caused by the primordial sea and you'll witness your gut reaching the ground, if you're even able to stand up for when that happens.

An Arven from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? I could definitely see his weight spiraling, his uniform getting too tight everywhere, with Nemona as comparison/support trying to help him lose weight, yet failing hard, and in denial about getting any heavier.
HOOOOOH OH YEAH I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!!

What if after they graduate some years in the future from the academy they move to the same apartment together? Nemona continues her journey of becoming the best at Pokemon battles, whereas Arven begins his culinary journey, with the goal of becoming the best chef in Paldea!
Now, who else but yourself to test out your own meals? There's no academy or other obligations to really worry about, so I can imagine Arven gets so invested in making meals and trying all of them, spending most days inside the kitchen, that his body begins packing on pounds with a speedy pace.
Nemona definitely notices, Arven doesn't, and if he does, he just passes it as some minor bloating, even if he's managed to push through 400 pounds with ease. Nemona herself isn't the type to shamelessly call out his weight. Hell, maybe she thinks this is just a phase and he'll plateau eventually, right?
But he starts to get alarmingly obese, and not an ounce of him hints at the idea that he's planning to diet anytime soon, so she tries her best to help his friend out and gives him indirect conversations about his weight and recommendations to become healthier. Arven, however, denies everything and gets confused at all of her attempts to insinuate he's "packing some extra weight" or "causing the floorboards to creak". It's been a couple years since he's begun focusing on his cooking, and now he can't resist devouring everything he makes! That's a win for a chef, is it not?
Maybe he's completely unconscious of the extreme weight gain he's going through. He still goes out to buy ingredients himself or to do other activities after all, but his legs and back are constantly aching, much to his confusion.
He's already nearing the 800 pounds milestone, and Nemona's still trying her best to get Arven down a healthier path before it's too late.
Tada! Let me know what you think :3c
Could you draw: A royal, who is trapped in an elaborate fancy canopy bed, too fat to roll himself over. But wearing a button-down shirt with a cravat, his facial hair a 5 o'clock shadow, but his hair medium length, gently around his forehead. Black hair, riddled with gray. Hazel eyes, more green than brown. A facial expression of slight embarrassment and anxiety, but trying to stay aloof due to his title?
Very detailed description! I hope I managed to put into an image what you had in mind :]

Prince Alexander had always been the largest of his 4 younger brothers, receiving all of the riches of the country in the form of lavish and decadent meals.
He was meant to be his father's successor as the eldest son, but the rules of the monarchy had to be rewritten just for him, as by the time the king died, Alexander could not leave his bed anymore, and the crown passed down to the second eldest son.
He has continued to fatten since then, now in his late 30s and pinned on the same royal bed secluded from the outer world, only worry in the world being to breathe steadily.

A timelapse of Arven for an AU where he pursues his passion for cooking...and things go awry

The true size of Fontaine's Ludex and Hydro Dragon Sovereign Neuvillette

Neuvillette was a mountain of sweaty flesh, completely immobilized and swallowed by the absurd expanse of his body, almost as big as the capital city of Fontaine itself.
But it was something he couldn't control.
The backstory:
Back in his draconic days many centuries ago, the Hydro Dragon was a fearsome protector of Fontaine, his power unmatched and only comparable to that of the other Dragon Sovereigns of Teyvat who've reigned for millennia. As the primal guard of Fontaine, he gained power from the waters of the nation, and he would be at his most powerful when it profusely rained.
But the Cataclysm struck alongside Khaenriah's fall and the death of most archons, gods and dragons 500 years ago, ending Fontaine's Hydro Archon's life, who was reborn as Neuvillette once the disaster quelled.
Neuvillette had a different perspective of life compared to his predecessor, he was fascinated by human life, and wished he could maybe, one day, shift into a human form and live alongside the people he carefully protects.
And then it hit him, he could! It was possible for him to shed his draconic form and turn into a Fontainian just like everyone else, but it was a permanent decision with no turning back. Spending some decades simply pondering this question, he witnessed how Fontainians began creating machines and evolving to protect themselves from any threats, and realized it would be okay for him to follow up with his desires, and so his body transformed into that of a tall, slender and pale male, only maintaining a fraction of his power as his draconic form. Focalors, aware of Neuvillette's doing, assured him that he would still be able to protect and rule Fontaine as the nation's Ludex, something he greately appreciated.
And for the first couple of days, it seemed like his wish had come true! He could now walk around the streets of his nation as another civilian and form relationships with whomever he'd wish.
But then, it rained for the first time since Neuvillette switched forms, and something was off.
As he stood out in the street, letting the water pour down on his now lithe frame, he felt a strange sensation course through his mind and body; His body was starting to expand. He was lightheaded, and felt a strong warmth building up inside him as he looked down and saw a round stomach threatening to rip his tailor-made shirt open. He panicked for over an hour, not knowing what was happening to him, but his concerns didn't change anything. His shirt burst open, revealing a belly that was now hanging past his belt, and the seams of his clothes began tearing apart.
The rain lasted for 4 hours, and Neuvillette was now 300 pounds heavier.
He ran back home in horror, only covered by remaining shreds of clothing that fit him earlier that morning, and summoned one of his helper Melusines, who was just as shocked as him.
They talked for hours, theorizing on what could've happened.
And then he realized it, standing upright from his seated position in shock and horror of what his descovery entailed.
Neuvillette had just permanently and irreversibly cursed himself into becoming a behemoth.
Mimicking the form of a human, he wasn't one, and therefore the quirks of being a dragon lingered in him. As a Hydro dragon of massive proportions, he only gained strength through water, which powered his draconic body. However, now being a fraction of his original size, and most importantly, no longer needing the presence of water to power himself, that massive amount of energy has no other choice but to be stored as fat tissue on his body.
The Melusine looked at him with worry, what did that mean? Did that imply each time it rains, he would considerably fatten up, with no way of controlling it? He would soon find that answer out once it rained once more two days later, where he reached 800 pounds. Coming into contact with the droplets would cause him to gain more energy, but he could spend the whole day inside and still be greatly affected, as long as the lands of Fontaine were blessed with rain, he would grow heavier.
Only a month of time and a rainy season was all it took for Neuvillette to have become immobile under his weight. His legs could no longer hold up, and he took his last step.
But he had already come to terms with this. He was still happy to have been able to live a normal human life even if for only some days, and the people of Fontaine and Focalors still relied on his guidance. So, before he got any heavier, he ordered they'd transport his already massive body to the middle of the nearest open field, and they found the perfect spot right behind the city capital. There, he would conduct his job as the nation's Ludex for the foreseeable future, knowing his body would
The present:
Neuvillette's has become one of Fontaine's most notorious landmarks. Impossibly massive, he sits encased in hundreds of gigantic folds of fat, unable to move an inch of his body. His only way of communication and contact is through Melusines, who thankfully possess the ability of speaking with him with their minds, and relay the information of the current case taking place in the Opera Epiclese so he can give out his judgement and fulfill his duties as the Ludex.
When he became immobilized centuries ago, Fontainians were still as slim as every other nation's people, so he found great interest in witnessing from afar how they also began getting progressively fatter each generation. He doesn't know whether to feel a sense of happiness that his people were starting to resemble him, or be concerned at what that implies for the future centuries of Fontaine, but it's not like he of all people get a say on what's considered too big.
Neuvillette continues to grow heavier each time rain hits, and until the world ends, he will continue to expand in every direction. As of now, he is the heaviest living being in all of Teyvat, and the rightful sole owner of Fontaine's "Uncontainable" weight class title.

Decided to draw and write about some of the Stardew guys' stories and how big I envision them and why :]
(Victor is from the Stardew Valley Expanded mod)
Do let me know what you think!!

Introducing Charlie and David, two fresh out of college nerdy roommates with very different stories but quite the same life!

I don't know how much I'll be drawing them, but I have many thoughts about them and like always when I make new OCs; please let me know whatever else you'd want to know about these two through asks and I'll gladly answer ^^!!!
If David broke his promise to his parents, how big was he when he started college? Also, what does he think about being able to be himself while living with Charlie, and not having to worry about judgement from his parents?

David has always been too massive for his own good, starting college at an already alarming 800 pounds, but he did tell his parents that he'd take his weight more seriously from now on.
Maybe he did have a slight sliver of motivation to improve his situation before it got even more out of hand, but now living on his own with a friend of his age with nobody trying to put him on the right path just was a recipe for disaster.
Maybe he tried cooking himself meals with some vegetables after his classes the first couple of weeks, but he was just so tired all the time, heaving around so many hundreds of pounds all day long, the last thing he wanted to do after coming back home was make himself a plate of broccoli, so he started relying on food deliveries almost immediately, and he knew no moderation. He never looked back after that. He knew he had an extremely slow metabolism and that fast food would do unspeakable damage to his waistline, but he simply no longer cared, there was nothing he could cook himself that could satiate his growing appetite. So, through all 4 years of college, he ate fast food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, between all three, and right before bed, every single day.
His parents aren't really judgmental or hating towards him, if anything, them being too kind led David down this path. He was never denied any foods growing up, and born with a naturally very slow metabolism, he became really big. They tried to put him on diets countless times, but that never worked, or had a bigger yo-yo effect instead, so it just became a very tricky thing that turned unmanageable. His parents had their worries when it came to David leaving their home to go study in college, but they asked themselves if maybe David would be able to discipline himself better without them in their daily lives enabling his weight gain, so they were hopeful, until, of course, he came back home during summer break after his first year with 100 pounds more of fat on his frame.
Welcome back!!
Woah, as expected from a lore expert, I really like your new OCs 🥰🫶
Question for Charlie & David, what characters have they cosplayed at the con (or cons) and what are people's reaction??
Personally I'm curious bcs I myself never see cosplayer best friends with such body contrast, so this is a fresh new one 😍

Oh it's a whole spectacle every time they go to conventions for sure.
It's pretty much the only time David ever leaves his apartment. During conventions is when he finds the best opportunities of finding rare collecting cards at great prices or meeting popular people involved in his biggest passions, so it's a must visit every time there's one in their city.
There doesn't exist any cosplay costumes for someone like him, so they have to pick characters that would be easy to portray through regular clothes, such as one time where he went as Ash Ketchum, and Charlie only had to put together the jacket.
Obviously, he gets completely drowned in stares every moment he's outside, but he doesn't really care at all, he's way too focused just on not losing his balance and trying to breathe normally while he makes his way through the con halls.
From personal experience, conventions can get super hot and humid, so unless they've had the luck of hitting an extremely well ventilated con, David's just going to be drenched from head to toe in sweat the whole time they're there. There have been occasions where he was kicked out due to dozens of people complaining of the overwhelming sweat odor filling his surroundings wherever he went, though those were during the summer.
Even if David spends the whole time panting and struggling to waddle from table to table, he finds the experience very fun and is always looking forward to visiting the next one with Charlie.
