Minthe still isn't happy about her pregnancy. It's her third pregnancy via abduction, who would be happy about that? If she had a choice, she would want a baby with Pudina instead, or better yet, a baby that looks exactly like Pudina. But if Pudina is excited about this, then she also has to play her part and that means listing out a bunch of mint-related names and watching her lover go on a range of expressions with every suggestion. They weren't sure yet if the baby will be a boy or a girl, but she was sure that they were going to name it Araminta.

Pudina was the first one to rush over to the little alien, Araminta Arcoberry, and Thorne came second, clearly excited to have a new sister to play around with (now that Rosabelle is busy with her student council work). On the other hand, Minthe avoided the baby like the plague, never having once held the baby or been around her after giving birth. She immediately went straight to bed and didn't even bother asking for family leave at work. With everyone fussing over the baby, it was Menthol who noticed Minthe's misery. Hopefully, this would come to pass.

While her siblings were out partying at San Myshuno, Araminta was having a lovely time being read stories by her mommy and petting the pet raccoon, who had a soft spot for this blue-skinned alien baby.

A normal day at the Arcoberry household would include Minthe cuddling with Menthol, Thorne painting his cat x dog fanfictions (Menthol is appalled that she was never even considered as inspiration for the main character), Rosabelle going out to San Myshuno which she has slowly come to love and meeting new people (and taking surveys on the sociopolitical issues the city is facing), Pudina trying her best to finish the cross-stitch she had started ages ago, and Minthe cuddling with Pudina. Araminta is at the daycare center, beating all of the other toddlers in a napping contest.

They wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. Minthe wished she still had the wedding dress she wore back then, but it was enough to see Pudina still looking radiant and beautiful in hers.

Meanwhile, during Minthe and Pudina's date, the topic of life and death suddenly came up. They were getting old. Soon, Pudina's time would end, but it seems that Minthe had already thought ahead and prepared an age-away serum. Of course, it has yet to be tested, but it would surely ease her worries if Pudina tried it, desperately hoping it would give them more time.

Pudina and Minthe spending time with the baby of the family. Also, Pudina got promoted! It seems that a short trip to outer space helped her a bit in understanding the intricacies of aliens.

I think there's no best proof of Thorne being the best brother than him autonomously giving his little sister a gift, and with Minthe finally becoming companions with Menthol, this was officially the best Winterfest they have ever had.
Pudina's personal note for the next Winterfest: Prepare a feast for Father Winter rather than mere milk and cookies.

Suffice it to say, her family were against the abrupt marriage. Thorne and Minthe were more vocal about it, while Pudina was more supportive. There's also one more important matter: they haven't officially met him! Yet he had the audacity to steal her from right under their nose!

Araminta was also skeptical of her sister's engagement, but she was easily convinced (Thorne says "bribed"). In the end, Rosabelle silenced the arguments surrounding her engagement with pasta.

For some reason, the aliens refused to stop abducting Minthe. Why do they keep bothering this old lady? If they want her to stop harassing them with the Electroflux Wormhole Generator and retire, then they have clearly wasted their time because she will live and die as a scientist with a knack for pranking aliens.
