"you are sick," raam's hoarse voice was quieter than usual, making a rush of goosebumps rise on your flushed skin. you swear you almost heard concern in her otherwise dismissive tone. 

you only shook your head in response to her observation, but it didn't make her more relaxed. quite the opposite, it seems. or maybe it was a result of your curious hand wandering all over her side. the skin under the chimera's feathers is almost hot, and you were drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

"you shouldn't." she continued, though admittedly, her resolve did crumble a little there. you were just so… small. a lone female, lost in her part of the woods. defenseless and cold. poor thing.

raam didn't think twice before bringing you into her den, even if she looked a bit apprehensive at the sight of you at first. you were freezing, and the blizzard that picked up made it impossible for you to retrace your steps and find the way you came from. 

and now you're here. woken up from your restless sleep, fever-ridden, and most importantly, sitting comfortably in the clutches of a very dangerous creature. raam could tear you apart with terrifying ease, just like she did with a deer when you stumbled on her earlier in the day. 

but she won't. not when you press up against her like that, desperate for the warmth you know she will provide. the lioness's breath falters at the feeling of your naked body, finally sliding a clawed hand up your spine. 

oh, your sweat-covered skin under her paws, the sound of your barely audible intake of air. she didn't miss anything. even how she, herself, reacted to your suggestive ministrations. you weren't the most subtle one, you know. not in this state of mind.

the things i would do to her, raam thinks, but pushes these desires away for now. she will have you. but later, so that you will remember in detail how good of an experience the huntress can truly give you.
