Donatello

• The turtles had left for patrol when you had arrived to spar with Splinter. It was relatively quiet, only the sound of rushing water in the background. Nearly every session with Splinter, the boys were gone.
• “Y/n, I’m glad you made it.” Splinter spoke, standing in the dojo, presumably awaiting for your arrival. You dropped your bag in a corner on the room, giving Splinter a small smile. “Sorry about the wait Splinter, I was enjoying my walk.”
• Splinter gave you a small chuckle in response, knowing how you were. You were rarely late so he had let this slide this time. Not too long ago, you started to spar with music playing. Splinter did not mind, seeing how it had helped your focus.
• With your speaker, you pressed play on your T-Phone that Donatello had given you. It was better than buying your own after all. As soon as the music started to play, you got into position, bowing to your sensei.
• “So If you ain't got no money take yo' broke ass home
G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S
yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S”
• Training with Splinter was a challenge, greater than the turtles. Music is was pushed you, pushed your body to learn as they had. With a swift swoop on your leg, Splinter had fallen, laying on his back. Stepping back, you offered a hand to your sensei, to which he gladly took.
• You were shocked. This was the first time you had taken down Splinter. ‘Wow’ you thought. Mikey couldn’t even do that, even by accident. Your efforts had really paid off.
• “We flying the first class
Up in the sky
Poppin' champagne
Livin' my life”
• “You have done well, my child. You have improved greatly over these few months. You may go if you wish.” Splinter complimented. “Thank you sensei, though I wish to train more, if I can.” You replied, a smile ever evident on your face. Getting a compliment from Splinter had meant a lot. You had worked hard to prefect ninjitsu.
• “As you wish Y/n. I will be in my quarters if you need me.” With that, you were alone. Walking over to the punching bag, you threw punches, kicks, anything you knew at the poor thing. The music almost echoing out your grunts and growls.
• What you had failed to noticed was the turtles were back. Specifically, Donatello at the entrance of the dojo, marveling at your skills, as well as interested in your choice of music.
• He enjoyed music, sometimes. He worked better in silence, that’s where you both differed from one another. He didn’t mind though. If it worked for you, it worked for him.
•He stayed silent, watching your every move. He rarely has seen you spar. Yes, you had all trained together, but never one on one time. Everyone knew you liked your privacy and didn’t bother you. Except Mikey on occasion.
• “Donnie! When did you get here?” You half yelled, clutching your chest, scared half to death. The terrapin snapped out of his trance, immediately putting his hand behind his head. “Oh, nothing really. I just came to check everything was okay?” He lied, his green skin carrying a deep blush, his gap tooth smile apparent.
• “So you’re spying on me?” You giggled, walking over to the speaker, turning it off. “I-I…no? I was curious about the music?” The terrapin tried to defend, but couldn’t find any words. It was true he was curious about your music tastes.
•Walking over to your turtle, you kissed his cheek. “You know you can always ask to watch or train with me, ya know.” You stated, giving the turtle a small smile. Donatello was lost in words, a sappy smile on his face. “Definitely.” He replied, his words lovesick.
•Giving Donatello a small pat on his cheek with your bandaged hand, you walked out of the dojo, the terrapin following shortly after, asking you about what you listen to, clinging to your hip. To which resulted in you indulging him in your favorite songs later that night, watching him enjoy them.
Raphael

•Least to say, you were pissed. School had gone terribly and not to mention, you gotten into an argument with a teacher, resulting you getting detention for a few days. It wasn’t even your fault. The teacher had messed up your grade and refused to fix it due to your “attitude”. That asshole.
• Even if your first day of detention started, you skipped, opting to go to the lair instead. It was your safe space and you really needed to let your anger out. When you entered the lair, the brothers had greeted you, but you strutted passed them, not speaking a word, not even bothering with a glance. Your only goal was to get to the dojo.
• “Y/n, babe, what’s wrong?” Raphael tried to reason, trying to catch up with you. Sure, Raphael was a hothead, but he cared for you. It was rare you ignored him and his brothers. “Nothing Raph. Leave me alone.” You spat, getting straight to the point. “Y/n talk to m-” Before Raphael could finish his sentence, the doors to the dojo, you leaving him in the dust.
•”Fine! Be that way!” He huffed, his lips turning into a snarl as he walked back to the living room. Picking up one of his comics, he kept to himself. That was until his brother piped up. “What was that all about Raph? Are they okay?” Leonardo asked, a bit worried. You were like a sibling to him. “Dunno and don’t care right now. They want to be alone then let them.” Raphael replied, annoyance in his tone. With that Leonardo left him alone, going back to watching Space Hero’s.
•You didn’t mean to be an ass. You really hadn’t. Raphael didn’t deserve that and you knew it. You were just so angry and it had got the best of you. Sighing, you turned up your music and bandaged your hands. You’d apologize after you had calmed down.
• “Girl, you know I miss you, I just wanna kiss you
But I can't right now
So, baby, kiss me through the phone”
• With every punch, every grunt, your angry slowly dispersed, your mind going blank. The punching bag had taken many hits, yet, it seemed as if you were making its life a living hell. Throwing a left hook, you realized you had messed up when you made contact with the worn leather. Hissing as you pull your hand back, seeing fresh cuts upon your knuckles. “Damnit.” You muttered.
•A little blood never stopped you, whipping your knuckles against your jeans, going back to throwing punches, maybe a little more careful this time. You had always been a stubborn one. It’s one of the ways you a Raphael had connected. ‘Birds of a feather, flock together’ they say.
•It had been a while since you had been in the dojo, not a word from you, only a faint nose echoing from the room. It started to worry Raphael, something must have really bothered you and you always came to him.
•Putting down his comic, he got up from the couch. “I’m going to check up on Y/n.” He told Michelangelo, walking over to the room, getting a “Good luck bro.” from his brother. Thankfully you didn’t lock the door, so he easily snuck in.
• “Baby, I know that you like me, you my future wifey
Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, yeah
You can be my Bonnie, I can be your Clyde”
• Music filled his ears, earning a smirk from the turtle in red. You wouldn’t suspect it to be his style, but he found it kind of catchy. Leaning on the wall, legs crossed, he decided to finally speak. “So this is what you listen to.” He teased.
• Nearly giving yourself whiplash, you turned to see your boyfriend watching you across the room. Deciding the punching bag needed a rest, you put your hands on your hips, Raphael noticing your bloody hand.
• “Hey it helps me when training, plus it’s a damn classic thank you.” You defended, giving your terrapin a cocky smile. “Classic? Sure babe, whatever you say.” Raphael said, trying to ruffle you up. Pushing himself off the wall, he made his way to you, grabbing your bloodied hand, rubbing it gently with a finger. “Next time, be careful. I don’t want you hurting yourself.” He spoke, kissing each knuckle before letting go of your hand.
• Blushing, you brushed back your hair. “I didn’t mean to, swung a little high and hit the chains. I’m okay I promise Red.” You replied. “And, I’m sorry about earlier. I didn’t mean to take my anger out on you. It’s just been a rough day.” You continued.
• “It happens Y/n. Next time, come find me and we can fix it, just hit the bag if ya want.” Raphael suggested, making you feel a little better. “I’d like that Red.”
• “Do you wanna spar with me for a bit? You’re already here.” You suggested, shrugging your shoulders a bit. “Eh why not, I could let off some steam.” Raphael replied, getting into a stance.
• “I’m so beating your ass.” You teased, chuckling as you bent down, tugging at your pants legs a bit. “Oh you wish princess.” The terrapin growled playfully. Narrowing your eyes, you ran towards him, going in for a jab. Dodging, Raphael took the offense side, picking you up and tossing you on the ground, landing on your back.
• “Baby, I been thinking lately so much about you
Everything about you, I like it, I love it
Kissing you in public, thinking nothing of it
Roses by the dozen, talking on the phone”
• With a prideful look, Raphael looked down at you, arms crossed.“Next time, I’m picking the music.” Oh how you wanted to strangle the smugness out of him.
Leonardo

• It was a normal day, for the most part. You opted out of training with the brothers. Wanting to do some alone work. They had understood, they had their private days as well. Walking into the dojo, the brothers were almost done training for the day. Sitting between Donatello and Michelangelo, you greeted them and were caught up on what they were training on. You nodded and looked forward, just in time to see Leonardo lay a finishing blow on Raphael.
•Before anything could escalate, Splinter split up the two turtles. Now dismissed, each turtle left the room. Well, except the turtle in blue. Getting up, you walked towards him. “You did good out there today honey. Maybe go a little easy on Raph sometime.” You giggled, giving your turtle a peck on the cheek.
• “If I did that, he’d be boasting about it for weeks. You know how his ego is Y/n.” Leonardo stated, flashing you a small smile. Shrugging, you took to grabbing your bucket of chalk in the corner of the room. “I know him like the back on my hand Leo, but still. Go easy on him sometimes. He is your brother after all.”
•Earning a chuckle, Leonardo started to walk out of the room. “I’ll think about it. Good luck. If you need me, you know where I am.” With that, he was gone. You rolled your eyes at his response, humoring him. They’d never stop their feud.
• With your hands coated in chalk, music on, you were in your zone. For a human, you were pretty strong, especially since you started training with the turtles and Splinter. They had given you a good workout throughout the years, you earning a good amount of muscle.
• “I got a feeling
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good, good night”
• Lifting weighs was no issue, it gave you peace of mind more than anything now. Years ago, this would’ve been a struggle, but now, it was a pastime. Knuckles white from clutching the bar, the weights lift down then up, getting close to your nose before lifting above the resting bars. “seven…eight…nine.” You grunted, starting to work up a small sweat. It had been a minute since you had touched the bench press.
• You didn’t know how long you had been in the dojo, or how much time had passed. All you knew was that your arms had started to ache. Letting the weight bar rest in its rightful place, you got up, deciding to stretch as you took a short break. Humming to the music, you failed to recognize your favorite turtle sitting not too far from you.
• The leader in blue originally came in to tell you dinner was on the table, but the music had caught his attention. He wouldn’t admit it but he had been tapping his foot to the rhythm while watching you work. It really amazed him how far you could push yourself.
• Turning around, arms in air, you looked down and gave out a small scream. “Leo! Come on you know better than to sneak up on me!” You scolded, arms resting at your sides. Lifting his hands, Leonardo stood, “Sorry baby, didn’t mean to scare you. I came in to tell you pizzas here but I got distracted.”
• “Let's paint the town, we'll shut it down
Let's burn the roof, and then we'll do it again
Let's do it, let's do it, let's do it, let's do it
And do it, and do it, let's live it up”
• “You could warn someone next time. I could have hit you Leo.” You warned, going to turn off your music, deciding that was enough for the day. “What am I going to do with you?” You asked, nudging his shoulder.
• “Send me a like to your playlist?” He replied, following you to the kitchen, grabbing a slice of pizza. “I’ll think about it big blue.” You giggled, biting into your dinner.
Michelangelo

• “Comeoncomeoncomeon.” You growled, nearly shaking the arcade machine, your terrapin cheering you on. You had been playing Centipede for the past hour and the levels were getting more difficult by the minute. “NO!” You screamed, eyes wide, the screen reading ‘Game Over’. You nearly wanted to cry, you were so close the beating this level but no you just had to mess up.
• “It’s okay angelcakes! I can’t even beat that level. But you were sooo close!” Michelangelo encouraged, shaking your shoulder. “Thanks Mikey. I’ll never get past this level. That stupid bug gets me every time.” Giving the machine a glare, like it would give you a response.
• Feeling something was off, you turned to the fun loving turtle. “Do you know what time it is?” Michelangelo shrugged, looking at his T-Phone. “Three. Why dudette, got somewhere to be?”
• Your eyes widened. You were late to training with Master Splinter. This was not good. “I gotta go! Splinter is waiting for me!” You yelled, running off before the terrapin could say anything. ‘Okay then.’ He thought, turning his attention to the arcade machine. Maybe he could beat the level for you. Maybe
• Racing into the dojo, you huffed out a lung. “Sensei I am so sorry! I didn’t realize what time it was. Me and Mikey were playi-” Without even a glance, Splinter gave his first order. “Ten flips.”
• “What? For being a little late?” You replied, aghast. Glancing at you from over his shoulder, he gave you the look. “Do you want to make it thirty?” He asked, more threatened. You shook your head quickly, doing as was told. He knew how much you hated flips, it was the one thing you were still working on.
• “One sensei…two sensei…” you grunted, trying on the third, yet falling flat on your ass. Sighing, you got up and continued, this time landing the flip. ‘I’m buying a watch’ You thought, legs already aching. “And ten sensei.” You puffed, bending over, trying to suck in as much air as you physically could.
• “Next time do not be late.” Splinter warned, facing towards you. “Now get in position.” As your training went on, you got a little better. Dodging a move or two. Trying to sneak up on Splinter, earned you a kick to the stomach, flying backwards until you hit the tree. Groaning, you slowly got up, the wind knocked out of you.
• With a few words of advice, Splinter has dismissed you, training done for the day. Opting to stay in the dojo, you had turned on your music, waving Splinter a good bye. He was tough, but fair. You knew having him as a sensei was a privilege and you appreciated it. But seriously, fuck those flips.
• “Party in Ipanema, baby!
I want to party
I want to samba
I want to party
I want to samba
I want to party
And live my life”
•Grabbing your chain whip, you slashed at the dummy’s, slashing new rips and tears into the worn leather and fabric. The weapon had been tough to work with. It was a whip after all, not to mention really sharp. But with some practice you had gotten the hang of it and now were a master.
• “Take that! And that! You dummy’s are no match for me!” You growled, lifting your weapon left to right, stuffing tossing in the air, leaving a mess you would clean up later.
• While you were training, Michelangelo had finally beaten the level. Did it take several tries? Yes. Did he look up a cheat code because he got frustrated? He wouldn’t tell. Yet, he was proud he had finally gotten to the next level, he abandoned the game, running for you. Stopping in his tracks, at the doors of the dojo, he could hear music playing. ‘Weird, they don’t do that.’ The turtle thought. Opening the doors, he could get a clear sound.
• “Imma fly, fly just like a bird
(But you are a bird! )
Oh yeah, you're right,
So let me fly just like a rocket, then (okay)
Fly so high where I need to come down for oxygen
Cause once we start it, baby, ain't no ain't no stoppin'”
• “Hey I’m liking this angelcakes!” The terrapin shouted, starting to let his limbs loose, moving with the music, completely forgetting about the game. You glanced over, used to his outbursts. It was Michelangelo after all. You laughed a bit, putting down your weapon. “I can see that Mikey.”
• Deciding to turn the music up, you moved next to your boyfriend, humoring him. You had to let yourself loose once in a while. Bumping your hips into him, you laughed, Mikey giggling with you. No matter how hard training could be, Mikey could always cheer you up. “Can I pick the next song?” “Sure Mikey.”
Dating Master Splinter (2012) Would Include…
Master Splinter never gets any love :(
As usual GN! Reader

• No PDA. While he does show his love to you through gestures and words, and a hug here or there, he reserves his affection to be in private. It’s not embarrassment or anything, it’s how he was raised.
• When alone, he loves to kiss your cheeks. His whiskers would tickle and cause you to giggle. When you weren’t paying attention, he would sneak a kiss on your lips.
• HUGS! Oh my god. His fur is so soft and warm. When he would envelop you in his giant arms, it was as if a giant teddy bear hugged you. He is very gentle with you, but held tight, especially when you were upset.
• “I love you” would come rarely. This, he wouldn’t hesitate to say in front of his sons. The first time he said he loved you, was after an encounter with the Shredder that left you extremely injured. He wouldn’t leave your side after that day.
• Comfortable silence. Either it be you reading a book and Splinter meditating next to you, you enjoyed each other’s company and time. Maybe a small conversation here and there.
• Of course Splinter being the turtles father, you would take on a parental role. Teaching the brothers patience, compassion for one another. Most of all, love. They love you to death and would do anything to protect you.
• Meals. Everyone loves pizza, but after a while it got repetitive. There would be nights you would mix up and make something new for your family. Of course, Splinter would always appreciate it, especially when you made a new batch of cheesecicles.
• Cuddling. Tons of it. When you both are alone in your room, or when the brothers are on patrol, you would jump at the chance to wrap yourself around your lover and watch tv in the living room. When you were laying down for the night, Splinter would wrap his large paws around your smaller frame, holding you close, snout snuggled into the crook of your neck.
• He would train you to become a Kunoichi. Whether you had past training or not, he would work with you day and night, learning the ways of a ninja. He would treat you the same as his sons in the dojo, pushing you to your limits to become your best self.
• He always makes sure your needs are met. Are you hungry? He has a bowl of soup in front of you. Thirsty? Tea is already brewing. Whatever you needed, he made sure you got.
• Overall he is an amazing spouse and loves you dearly. He isn’t going to make the same mistake to you as he did with Tang Shen. You couldn’t ask for a better rat-man.
Could I request for headcanons of TMNT 2012 Splinter react to his s/o saying they know how it feels to be discriminated especially of something that they can't control when he asks how are they so open minded?
Splinter reacting to GN! Reader about discrimination

• Splinter was never one for letting words, or even actions get to him. Over the years, he had learned to control his emotions, ever since….
• This one particular day, the turtles were out on a patrol, allowing their father to have some free time. Meditating was usually what he enjoyed, but today, it was the television.
• Remote in hand, arm wrapped around your shoulders, the rat clicked through different channels, eventually the news catching his attention.
• “Mutants running rampid! What are we going to do with these creatures? Trap them? Possibly work with them? The media doesn’t know. This is Lou Jitsu, Channel 6 news!”
• With a small sigh, the older male switched the channel once again, not really caring for what was on the screen. Eyes furrowed, staring at the tv, knew this bothered your spouse, as it did you.
• You never cared for what he had looked like, why do others? “Splinter, you okay?” You asked, turning your attention to your mate, laying your hands on his thigh. “Y/n, throughout my lifetime, humans have always been scared of the unknown. It’s never bothered me; how I look. And I look at you, my mate, living in such fear, hatred. How do you stay open?”
• Giving Splinter a small smile, you could only breathe out a small laugh. “Yoshi, it’s because it’s not just mutants humans have done this too. School bullies? Yeah, I’ve been through that. I’ve been shunned and ridiculed to high hell, but there’s a point where I knew my self worth; where they taught me that judgement is sometimes horrible. I choose to see the good, in people, in you, and our sons. That’s how I do it. You have to push past the fear and anger. If not, it consumes you, you know?”
• With a small “Hm”, the rats gaze bore into yours, a soft look written. “I suppose so, darling.” He muttered, pulling you onto his lap, paws locking onto your back. “You have done so much for me and our sons. With you, my life is normal.”
• Wrapping your arms around Splinter, your face heating up, you planted a small kiss on his snout, making the rats nose scrunch. “With you, my life is perfect. I love you sweetheart.” “And I love you.”

Hi this is my first post, I'm very new to tumblr so sorry if things looks weird.
