Fleshing out OwlHouse!Bruno’s curse some more !! A spell he tried to cast on himself to ‘fix’ his magic backfired and bonded him with elements of his palisman (a rat), cursing him to periodically turn into a rat beast (or the Rat King)

But what if (with the help of his siblings and possibly the rest of the family as they understand his condition more) they’re able to help push him in a good direction and he learned more control over himself and the curse? So basically an Eda the owl harpy type scenario (except significantly less cool SKHKSHKH)

In this form (though his magic is much weaker than when he’s just fully non-rat) he has some pretty cool rat-themed abilities— like rats just. Liking him and Vibing n listening to him (more than usual), scaling walls, surviving a 50 foot drop, teeth that can chew through steel (which he has to shave down bc they keep growing constantly WHICH PSA DONT FILE YOUR TEETH IRL), jumping pretty high, holding his breath for 3 minutes at a time, jump starting his heart with an electrical shock in case it just. Stops., and generally more heightened senses.

So yeah, still not ideal, but it has its perks.
