I almost immediately knew what I wanted to do for Regulus' design: his magi outfit would be a prince / royalty, because that's definitely how he sees himself (despite the fact that he should be the absolute last person in charge of anything ever) and it's in reference to his 'little king' authority. His weapon is a fencing foil, because it’s not really meant to be a weapon and can’t really do any real damage to people; it’s only used for fencing. I think this fits him well because without his authority, he’d be completely powerless and would just be a regular dude, so I wanted his weapon to reflect that. He relies so much on his authority to fight, that he really wouldn’t use a weapon to fight for himself (he’d probably just point the foil around like a wand lol XD). His soul gem is shaped like a human heart and is on the left side of his body where the heart is because of course lol, his ‘lion’s heart’ authority (I’m so clever lol 😂 ).

The authority from a wish doc says that Regulus’ wish would be ‘to be free from the violation of rights from others’, which in his mind would be just about anything that stands in his way, so his power would manifest as a prevention of this via invincibility and his other abilities through ‘lion’s heart’ and transferring his ‘heart’ / weakness to others through ‘little king’.
