I got invited to do a Digimon 02 piece for a zine :) This was a fun one :)

I haven't made any statements on here about how Digimon was ahead of its time especially with gender queer characters let me explain all Digimon are technically genderless therefore non-binary, but they have preferred pronouns such as she/her or he/him but Hawkmon is the first gender fluid out of any of them because he has been referred to being male and female in episode 12 of Digimon02 he's literally called a girl and they roll with it so yes this is one of the first gender fluid Digimon

Just watch Digimon 02 The Beginning with my brother for his birthday. And I am so happy this movie was way better than Tri and Last Kizuna. It had a heartfelt message of communication with a dash of that dark subjects I could hear the director of the Tamers season sprinkle in.

If you haven't watched it yet I highly recommend it.

Digimon 02 kids - because the minute of them eating pavement at the start of Digimon Tri was not nearly enough for my nostalgia needs.
