That had her cocking a brow from beneath her visor, trying to make sense of the wording in this e-mail without a sender. There didn’t appear to be a virus accompanying it, and neither did it appear to be a product of the machines. Falling quiet for a few beats, arms folded across her chest, before the combat unit’s lips part to utter in a clear, and concise manner, a simple order.
“Pod, analyze this wording. What does it mean?”
It....was a pun, wasn’t it? But what exactly was it a reference to? As the Pod beside her hums, it finally pipes up in its robotic voice, hovering beside her.
“Analysis: This wording is a reference to the works of a man from ancient times known as Shakespeare. Proposal, this is a play on words in reference to a quote stating such: “To be, or not to be? That is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?”
Another bout of silence. It makes her recall her own thoughts when all of this had first started, when she had been tracking down that Goliath in the factory. ...No, that wasn’t accurate. The day that her life had truly begun to change had started long before that. Her colorless days had begun to show a hue when.....

It was such a disgusting role, a blood-stained one that she executed time and time again, witnessing the same sin over and over and over. How unfair it was, how inevitable that this would eventually come to the same conclusion. Virtuous Contract felt heavy in her hand, colder than usual, as she gripped the hilt tightly.
I feel sick.
“…But….”
“….By any means necessary.”

So by muses you mean No. 6 right OKAY LET’S TALK ABOUT 6
He is quite honestly the worst person on the planet but I enjoy writing him because he genuinely has no redeeming features. He does it for the Evlulz, and it’s so much fun to write a character who’s to the core a bad person, and feels no remorse for his actions. In fact, he only enjoys the nastiest and filthiest of crimes, like taking hostages, cheap shots, fighting dirty, and most of all–Torture and killing.
It gets him so hot and bothered that he can’t get enough of, so coupling that with the fact that he has such monstrous strength that a mere flick of his wrist with his katana in hand can plow down a party of androids, YoRHa or not? No. 6 is a terrifying individual with a twisted personality that is gleefully sadistic. I in no shape, way, or form condone anything he does, but I really adore how much of a villain he is.
There’s no softening that fact, he is 100% a terrible person and there’s no ounce of regret in his body, that much is made very clear in how he treats the Resistance Camp members as well as Black after the ship crashes. No. 6 is a very far cry from the type of characters and arch-types that I tend to go for, but he’s enjoyable for me to write as I do enjoy antagonists, and I like to try my hand at stepping out of my comfort zone.
