6/9/24 Several years ago I watched an adventure movie titled The Tourist, starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. This movie unravelled like a mystery, at the start the audience is certain they know who the two travellers are, as well as their motivations. But the longer their holiday runs, the results are apparent: they are huge on determination, private territory, and most of all, serendipity.

since then , tons of other movies with two or more sides to them have made their way to box-office hits, and each is arguably as good as the other (film geeks take sides, wasn't too sure of this one at first.)

Turns out that they all explore a familiar feeling:

the need we feel to explore and chase dreams.

As a whole they illustrate how the imaginary credit can boomerang , and make things harder for professionals to deliver the unpleasant truth

It also made me question how powerful and popular investments potential technology can grab away authentic stories necessary to help those in similar circumstances.
