" These two rights, liberty and property, seem like perverse foundations for a system of broad social coordination, for they guarantee that, except for specific prohibitions, people can do as they wish.

" These Two Rights, Liberty And Property, Seem Like Perverse Foundations For A System Of Broad Social

Yet coordination would seem to require that people do not simply do as they wish but instead bend to the requirements of cooperation and peacekeeping. All the more interesting, then, are the ways in which the two rights support cooperation and peacekeeping. "

ASSERTIVE RUNAWAY CONDITIONS ( LESSON )

Quite often, managers get overwhelmed by demands made by both their superiors as well as by junior staff.

In a thriving environment, many reports and approved expenses add up, and before long these managers begin to give themselves congratulatory slaps for their backs.

The entrenched belief is that they will escape multiple waves of layoffs, because without them the business will come to a crashing halt.

ASSERTIVE RUNAWAY CONDITIONS ( LESSON )

As a result, they grow into permitting day-to-day demands to subsume their own judgment.

Effective managers do better. Effective managers control tasks with proactive approaches, and adjust naive expectations of stakeholders in line with observations from available data. This way, they get more reserve towards strategic goals, rather than in putting put fires.

ASSERTIVE RUNAWAY CONDITIONS ( LESSON )

Effective managers observe some distance between themselves and carefree politicking. They notice false alarms and growing concerns and get right to work clearing the air. social media cannot control their facts on hiring or views on ethics.

THROWBACK SUNDAY

 THROWBACK SUNDAY

18/8/24 The Olympics have come and gone. The highlight of the summer, there was enormous amount of space and connection in both opening ceremonies torch and closing ceremonies medals.

I love technology.  I know that's probably pretty obvious to anyone who comes to a site named "HotHardware", but I just had to say it. So, w

Last year Google posted a video reel of hits based on most frequent searches on its X page. various moments ranging from sports to pop music to protests and peace-advocates made the cut.

Today in sifting through the grain of consumer-apps, we rely on the unobtrusive Play Store. Google understood the mass appeal of social media and mobile support early on, and figured out service models like *GoogleTalk, *Google+ and *V8, all native to Android TM.

When Google+ first launched and started making waves in the social networking world, many things changed. The perception of Google as a sear

● KEEPING DATA TO OURSELVES?

With expansion of machine learning services ( including TENSOR processing unit upgrade and COLAB integration ) there will be unprecedented interest in protecting data from "scrapers".

This interest is in opposition to one of the founding principles of Google, to take the world's knowledge and make it universally accessible. Libraries are taking down books in response to complaints, and even Archive.COM reports losing its legal claim to 500,000 published works, all because the publishers vowed to 'secure' those titles.

My recent blog post "Always Looking For Input" generated quite a bit of feedback from readers and even a few manufacturers. In that post, I

● MIDDLECLASS TAX DOLLARS VS MULTIMODAL AGENTS

For better or worse this panic: over A.I. getting in touch with source data, and training on looks, poems, or speech style IS REAL. Pretty much every 12 weeks new models are rolled out and leaderboards construct new tests / build better red teams.

 THROWBACK SUNDAY

Google, being a W3C leader: is heading the efforts to 'fix the environment' by requiring guardrails in the form of digital watermarks . Second, encouraging banning of bad actors, angry scrapers going behind people's backs just to gain access into their private data. Apple is also motivated to redeem their brand from security flaws either through monitoring or misinformation prone apps.

This AI-powered, Google backed security tool will make creating and processing threat intelligence easier than ever before.

We grew up with an /Internet which might have been slow, but for the most part there was a reliability in security /protocols and /antiviruses. However, our children will have to cope with a deluge of generated ads, artificial scripts and comments.

__DIRECTOR_AND_EXTRA__ #TGIF__

6/9/24 Several years ago I watched an adventure movie titled The Tourist, starring Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. This movie unravelled like a mystery, at the start the audience is certain they know who the two travellers are, as well as their motivations. But the longer their holiday runs, the results are apparent: they are huge on determination, private territory, and most of all, serendipity.

 __DIRECTOR_AND_EXTRA__ #TGIF__

since then , tons of other movies with two or more sides to them have made their way to box-office hits, and each is arguably as good as the other (film geeks take sides, wasn't too sure of this one at first.)

■ Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

■ Hail, Caesar

■ The Interview

■ Birdman

■ La La Land

 __DIRECTOR_AND_EXTRA__ #TGIF__

■ Blonde

■The Massive Weight of Unbearable Talent

■ Babylon

■ Fall Guy

■ Malcolm and Marie

■ Megalopolis

■ Poor Things

■ Fantasms

Turns out that they all explore a familiar feeling:

the need we feel to explore and chase dreams.

As a whole they illustrate how the imaginary credit can boomerang , and make things harder for professionals to deliver the unpleasant truth

It also made me question how powerful and popular investments potential technology can grab away authentic stories necessary to help those in similar circumstances.
