Lonely flower

Life without one of the Haitani brothers would be torture to the other. They were always together. Through the think and thin. No matter what one says about the other and that they didn't need the other they both knew that was a lie. They wouldn't be called the Haitani brothers. They wouldn't have all their moves be about both of them.

Even before they got into fighting and things and started making moves for it they always did stuff together. Even through Ran was a year older that didn't stop him and Rindou to do everything together. Ran even went into Rindou's classroom before just to be able to have classes together. Of course Ran got noticed by the teacher but Ran out up a big fight when they tried to take him away.

But now here Rindou is, in his brother room looking at the ground. Ran's room was cleaned. Everything Ran owned got put into boxes and was put under the bed or in the closet.

Rindou hasn't been able to get up anymore. He hasn't been able to do anything. All he wants to do all day is stay in his brother's room and remember the good days.

Ever since the incident Rindou couldn't accept what had happened, couldn't forgive himself, and couldn't forget how it happened.

A few days back Ran and Rindou were going to fight another gang. They were sure that their game was going to win. Well it just happened that one of the gang's members had brought a gun. Rindou was supposed to get shot, not Ran. Ran should have been alive and Rindou should be six feet into the ground not the other way around.

Next thing Rindou knew was that a gun went off in the middle of the fight. When he looked to see what was going on he saw Ran fall to the ground and blood coming out of his.

Rindou didn't know what to think. His mind was everywhere. Telling him to scream, to cry, to call for help, to move, to do anything. All he could do was pull his brother's body close to him and hold onto the wound. Rindou couldn't forget what Ran said to him.

"Rin, don't do anything stupid now. I won't be there to stop you". That was Ran's last words. If it was any other thing Rindou might have let out a small chuckle but not that time. He just wanted to say that he doesn't have to say that and that he will always be with him to stop him but they both knew that wasn't true.

The cops then arrived a few minutes after. He had gotten questioned but he barely said anything he told the bare minimum. The cops had no reason to arrest him so they just let him go and now he hasn't been able to get off his brother's bed.

This was bed that he would come in whenever he got a nightmare. The bed that him and his brother both do stupid thing on. Rindou just puts his hands on his face and groans to himself.

He then slammed his hand down on the bed. He wanted to go back and fix that. Why did that have to happen? Why, why, why?

He didn't even notice that he started punching the wall and that his knuckles started bleeding. But once he did he just looked at his knuckles and frowns more.

He just wanted to see his brother one last time. That last time would be the best time he would ever have his brother.

He then laid back on the bed and closed his eyes.

Now that he thinks about it he never felt this hopeless. Never this deep in the darkness that is surrounding him.

He didn't realize that he fell asleep till he heard someone knocking on his door. He groans and opens his eyes and looks towards the door. He then slowly gets up and heads out of the room and to his door. He then goes and opens the door.

"What?" He asked, rudely.

He then saw Sanzu. He had a bottle of wine and a bag of food. He then sighs and crosses his arms.

"what do you want, Sanzu?" He asked. He didn't want to deal with Sanzu. He didn't know if he was high, drunk, or anything else in the area.

"just thought I would bring you some stuff. Can I come in?" He asked and smiles at him. Rindou rolls his eyes and moves out the way for Sanzu to come in. He then closes the door behind Sanzu and follows him into the apartment.

Little did he know that night with Sanzu was the night that he finally let everything out. That night he had to accept his brother's death. The night that Sanzu helped him through.
