“ahhh don’t sweat it, chaeyoung. i’ll get to see you again in the interview soon!”

“that’s good, i miss you so much i just want to see you again,”

“you’re so adorable when you say that,”

right now you were on a call with your amazing girlfriend, park chaeyoung. main vocalist of blackpink, and charming australian chick that could capture the hearts of anyone.

you felt so lucky to be dating someone like her, she’s such a sweetheart and you love her so much, but due to idol circumstances you had to hide your guy’s relationship. people actually knew you pretty well in the public, due to you being an interviewer and an entertaining mc on some variety shows, but did they rarely ever see you with blackpink.

and when they did it was always on variety shows, but you and chaeyoung kept it subtle, sure you got along well but you never dared to go too far with interactions. but usually after variety shows the other members of blackpink would tease you and chaeyoung about your guy’s relationship.

you smiled to yourself when your silly girlfriend started whining playfully to you on call, so you chuckled and spoke to her. “don’t worry, sweetheart. i’ll see you soon today, don’t worry about it,” you reassured her, and you could practically feel her smiling from the other side on the phone. “alllriight, but can we get some tayaki after this?”

“i promise we can, honey,”

“alriiight. i’ll see you soon, y/n!” she exclaimed, and you said bye to her back before hanging up on her, going back to adjusting your outfit and hair for the interview.

meanwhile the australian girl was practically squealing in excitement, she was about to see her lover again after so long! due to her excitement, she could hear three familiar feminine voices snickering at her. she just rolled her eyes before facing her bandmates. “what’s so funny?” chaeyoung questioned in a somewhat demanding tone, but that just made the other members laugh at her even more because of how cute she was being.

“awww it’s just that our little rosé is excited to see her boyfriend again~” jisoo said in a cooing manner, making jennie and lisa laugh at her and chaeyoung punch her shoulder playfully. “shut up, unnie! i haven’t seen him in forever of course i’ll be excited!” she yelped while jisoo rubbed her shoulder and chuckled.

“don’t sweat it, chaeyoung. i’m sure you two will have a great time during and after the interview.” jennie reassured, making the young female calm down a bit.

“yeah... i’m sure we will,”

you were currently sitting on a chair, playing games on your phone as you waited for the girl group arrive so you could interview them, your cheeks fuming a glowing red at the thought of you finally seeing your girlfriend again, but you knew you couldn’t cause any suspicion and you had to stay low.

as you were playing attentively, a knock on your makeup room could be heard. you told the person to come in and it was the makeup artist. “they are going to be here in five minutes, get ready,” she quickly told you before walking away, which made you get up from your seat and walk outside.

you then took a seat on your comfortable chair and before you knew it, there they were. blackpink, and they were far more gorgeous up close. you’ve seen them many times in person before, but it never gets old. you locked eyes with a familiar australian girl, and you both looked away from each other’s gazes, as you could feel the redness stinging your cheeks.

it started off simple, you guys exchanged your greetings and introductions with each other, then you went onto the questions. it’s started off simple, you made sure to be respectful to the four women as you did not want to make them uncomfortable, and they seemed to be having a good time, especially your girlfriend, her happy smiling and giggling made you feel warm inside.

“what’s the best part about being able to work with your bandmates?” you asked them, and jennie decided to speak up to answer. “well one of the things i enjoy most is that i get to bond and spend time with some of the best people i’ve ever bonded with. i truly can’t imagine a word without them,” jennie spoke truthfully and beautifully, please protect this girl we don’t deserve her.

chaeyoung looked like she wanted to say something, but she kept quite, her gaze flickering from you to the floor repeatedly. lisa shot her a knowing and teasing grin, making the taller female nudge her lightly.

after the interview, blackpink went backstage with you and that’s when chaos erupted. the three girls all teased the poor girl endlessly, saying stuff like “oh my god, chaeyoung~ why did you keep staring~?” or “so when are you two gonna announce your relationship~?”, making the idol incredibly flustered and red while you watched in the corner.

suddenly, you felt two delicate arms wrap around your chest as you looked down to see the cute puppy face of your girlfriend. “babbyyyy~ please help me from them they won’t stop teasing meeeee~” chaeyoung whined as she climbed onto you, making the three artists tease her even more form the distance. you just chuckled and stroked her soft hair.

“just ignore them, i can take you to boba,”

“really? that would be great! i love you so much!” chaeyoung exclaimed, immediately forgetting about the situation she was just in, you smiled to yourself, knowing you had such an amazing woman with you. “yeah... i love you too...”
